Animals

 

 Carmi and Lilli with Giraffe, Reindeer (his official name is Olive Olaf, Olive after a story where a dog thought he was a reindeer, and Olaf of course after the snowman), and then Teddy (but you can't see him so well).
It's super cute, I highly recommend it. Apparently it's also a movie, I just realized that looking for a picture of the book....

 Lilli with her turtle, Brownie. She also has a turtle named Greenie, and a bunch of smaller tortoise's and turtles.

Summer School Flood

We found out our school was hosting summer school in June so Lilli and Carmi asked if they could go.  We have had a crazy wet spring/summer and I crossed my fingers that we wouldn't get rained on walking to and from school. Everything went well until the last week of school. With only two days left we completely got poured on walking home. It was actually kinda awesome! But I imagine if it had happened more then once I would not have been as excited...

It's crazy to think that Jared will be able to go to pre-Kindergarten next June. What am I going to do with just one child at home??

Lilli had an umbrella, but the rain was coming down so hard it wasn't a huge help.

We had Jared in a rain coat, and Nadia and Carmen under the giant poncho. But the water still pooled in the bottom of the wagon so by the time we got home they were sitting in several inches of water!

I had an umbrella but the rain was coming down so hard it dripped off and ran right down my back and front. I was wearing flip flops and so I took them off in order not to slip and hurt myself (I'm real good at that!) It was totally awesome to walk in all the water without shoes on. :)

When we got home all the kids put on pajamas because we are awesome like that!Fun

Nadia VS the brick wall

Nadia is a very busy girl. She climbed up on our brick wall out front and fell. It was pretty sad.
