overload

I have been going crazy lately balancing life, kids, working from home, Relief Society, back to school. So, here are a bunch of posts all at once. I'll do better.

Wolfy/ Labor Day/ Comic Con

WOLFY!

Fisher has a new pet. Every day when I drop Fish off at school he gives me instructions for the day to take care of Wolfy.

 Fisher wanted a picture of him and Wolfy to hang by his bed. I think Cannon's drawing actually turned out better than I could have done!

 LABOR DAY at the Lake, of course!
When we were at the cabin with Grandma Bette she gave Cannon a birdhouse kit. My dad loves to do activities with the boys so they built it together. I can't believe I forgot a Finished photo. oh well.

 RANDOM. This drove by- pink car pulling a golf cart on a trailer pulling a tiny camper with wings.

 COMIC CON: Salt Lake has Comic Con for the first time ever! Cannon was able to go Thursday with his friends family. His Uncle Ryan of Invincible was even there signing. We have an ask-and-ye-shall-receive policy regarding costumes at our house. So, the night before we whipped up this costume of Scarecrow from Batman.

Vicarious Pet

Since Ryan is so mean and won't let me buy a dog we have to live through my parents. I pretend Skipper is also our dog. He is such a crack up. This day he stole Fisher's blanket and dragged it around.

Back to School

Fisher jumped right in. He loves school- especially since he has afternoon and gets to sleep in and play all morning.

A Day for the Brothers (8/9)

Robb flew into town to join his family so Ryan took the day off so we could all hang out.

We started at the Zoo. We go so often I just didn't feel like taking pictures.

 Then, to keep the fun going we headed south to American Fork Canyon where we had a picnic lunch with our new pet, Wolfy.

 Then we were off to see Timpanogos Cave. Wow, Mary and I learned to never listen to our husbands when they say something is quick and easy (something we both should already know about them). It wasn't hard, but it was steep and long for the little boys. But, we all made it even through the rain.

We survived!

We had a really great time. The cave was so much more exciting than I remembered. It was an amazing day. But, next time I am wearing pants and a jacket! It was freezing in there.

Cousins at the Park (8/7)

Way back in August Mary and I took our boys to Liberty Park.

We first went to the Aviary and then rode all the fun little rides.

 Mary and her boys left and we stayed for more fun: snow cones and the Seven Canyons area of the park.

We go to Liberty Park often, but we do this special visit every summer. One of my favorite activities of the summer.
