Happy New Year

To celebrate the New Year, we all went down to Oma and Dziadzy's house to celebrate. We just relaxed and played games. The best part of the get together was when my mom put my dad's wedding ring back on his hand for the first time since the accident. It was a great way to end 2007, and bring in 2008.

Park Play Date with Daniel

Since Daniel was in town, we took the opportunity to go play at the park. William was hardly ever seen once we got there because he was riding around on his new Razor scooter.
Daniel borrowed this from another child at the park. Emma decided Daniel needed a little push.
Daniel got off the toy, so Emma decided to get on. Then Daniel decided he wanted to go on too, so he sat on Emma. Don't they look cute.

Christmas Day

After opening up presents from Santa, we all went down to Oma and Dziadzy's house for Christmas dinner, and to have just a day of fun.

Emma wanted to dress up for the occassion. She wore her Tinkerbell sunglasses that she got in her stocking.
Morgan was able to open her presents from Oma and Dziadzy, Aunt Na, and from Aunt Heidi. She got help from William and Emma, of course.
She was more interested in trying to eat the wrapping paper.

Merry Christmas

The kids were very good this year, and Santa proved that to them. The kids got a lot of great stuff. Christmas was really fun this year. William was already really into Christmas, but this year, Emma really understood it too. It was great.

Christmas Eve

As always, we went down to my parents' house for Christmas Eve. It was a nice evening. All the cousins were together having a great time.

Emma got this little laundry center, and she absolutely loves it. She is always doing her baby dolls' laundry. Too bad it doesn't really work, she could help me do laundry. =)
Emma loves Strawberry Shortcake. She was so excited to add another DVD to her collection.
William loves to build. He was really excited with his new Tinkertoys this year.
Morgan was really tired, and things were really hectic, so she didn't open her presents from the family until Christmas day.

Sankt Nikolaus 2007

Since the kids were so good again this year, Sankt Nikolaus did not forget them. The kids left their shoes out on the eve of December 6th, and they got some goodies when they woke up.


William received the game "Mouse Trap." He loves how he has to build things to play this game.
Emma got "Candyland- Shape Sorter." Emma is doing so great learning her shapes that this game was perfect for her.
Morgan got a Leapfrog drum. She loves to tap things with her little hands, so this was perfect for her. It sings songs whenever she taps it.

A Few More Pictures of Morgan

Normally when we are taking pictures, Morgan is always asleep or just chilling in her seat. Well, here are some candid shots of Miss Morgan.
Like always, Miss Morgan is all smiles for Mommy.
Morgan is at that stage that everything she touches will just end up in her mouth.
Morgan loves one-on-one time with Daddy. Daddy makes her laugh a lot.
Morgan loves this book. It is a miracle book. Whenever Morgan is holding it, Mommy can actually get stuff done around the house.
This is why we don't let Daddy feed her her cereal.

Morgan's 1st Taste of Cereal

Morgan is growing up so fast. It is time to start the next stage of her feedings. Her 1st taste of food was Gerber's Rice Cereal.
Morgan was more excited to taste her bib than her cereal.
She wasn't too sure what we were giving her. After a couple of bites, she decided that was enough. Surprisingly, she didn't spit the cereal back out though.
The next morning, she was all smiles again and was wanting to try cereal again.
In it went, and in it stayed!

Morgan's 4 Month Well Baby Check Up

It is hard to believe Morgan is already 4 months old. She went to the doctors, and she is doing great. She weighs 13 lbs. 4 oz. and is 24.5 inches tall. We are able to start her on solids. She is growing up so fast, but she is still the sweetest angel. Morgan is a little chatter box. She loves to talk to anyone that will look at her. She squeals in delight all the time. Her laugh is absolutely adorable. We absolutely love her.

Happy Halloween!

We went over to Aunt Sarah's house for dinner before heading out for Trick or Treating. It was fun for all the cousins to share Halloween together.

Every year the kids get more and more skeptical of putting their hand into the pumpkin goo.
Ben shipped us the costumes and they arrived just in time. We were so excited.

With us rushing to get out of California, I totally forgot to pack the kids' Halloween costumes. The cousins were nice enough to let us borrow some from their past years.
