Emma's Boondocks Birthday

Emma finally got to have her birthday party! She was a patient girl. Oma and Dziadzy were running late because of traffic, but the party had to go on. (note: Remember how I normally have the picture in everyone's face all the time, well not lately! =( I'm missing opportunities for precious memories!)

Emma chose to do a bowling birthday. She was anxiously awaiting to see how pins she would knock down!

During our game of bowling, Oma and Dziadzy arrived! Where's Dziadzy? I didn't get a single picture of him. I told you I'm having a problem!

William's Pack Meeting

William has been really enjoying Cub Scouts! At this month's pack meeting, his den put on a skit about littering. It was cute! William was one of the 'tidy bugs.'

A good pack meeting always consists of a relay race! (sorry it's blurry!)

Our Sunday Hike

After church, we decided it was too nice of a day to stay indoors, so we went for a hike in the mountains behind the house. We hiked about 3 miles round trip. The kids were good sports, and they had a great time.

Morgan HAD to touch the water! At least she didn't fall in!

William and Emma HAD to prove they could get to the rock in the middle of the stream without falling in. They successfully did it!

When we went to go check on Morgan, we found her like this! She discovered some swim diapers, and decided it would be best to slip it over her pajamas. Funny girl!

Emma is 5!

Emma is 5 today! She is such a big girl. Emma made the big girl decision to hold off on a birthday party for 2 weeks because she wanted my parents to be there. She is so sweet and thoughtful! So that the day wouldn't just pass us by, Ben and the kids met me after work at Boondocks to play in honor of Emma's birthday. Did we remember the camera? Absolutely not! So frustrating! But here are a few pictures of the birthday girl!

I guess when you are 5 you can start doing 'magical' things. Emma can blow bubbles!

Emma also enjoyed getting mail. Thanks everyone for the birthday cards. I will eventually get to cashing the checks.........Sorry! =)

Morgan is our little hamster. She loves to stuff food in her cheeks. Funny girl!

Cute Sleepers!

I went to go check on the girls for the night when I saw the tip of something coming out from Morgan's blanket. When I pulled back her blanket, I discovered she felt the need to sleep with her toy gun. Does Ben have some influence over her or what? =)

Even in sleep Emma's hair needs to be perfect. There is her classic double headband look!

Emma Is Funny!

Emma was in her room cleaning up, and when we checked on her progress, she had on this outfit. It's more fun to clean up your room when you get dressed up for the occasion.

Emma's Family Birthday Dinner!

Emma is very excited about turning 5! It is hard to believe that time is already here.

Emma had the family come over for dinner. It was her choice, so of course she chose Mac & Cheese (plus some yummy sides!)

Emma decorated the cupcakes all by herself. Her only requirement for the cupcakes were that they were PINK! Surprise surprise. =)

After church, we decided to have a family dinner for Emma's birthday that was coming up later that week. The girls were very excited. Until the family arrived, they were putting on a dancing show for me and the camera.

We went over for Easter dinner over at my brother-in-laws. They hid eggs for an Easter Egg Hunt.
