Back To Being A Working Mommy!

The time has come for me to go back to work. =( I have loved being a stay-at-home mommy. So, this is a completely depressing change for me. Today, I start at Southern California Edison with my dad. I am a Station Accounting Clerk. So, everyone wish me luck. 

Last Chance For The San Diego Zoo!

My passes are up at the end of this month, so we decided to make one last trip. We brought our friends with us. The day was a crazy day. No one seemed to be in the right mood to be at the zoo. But, we were still able to have fun here and there. =)

The kids had more fun chasing each other and tickling each other than seeing the animals.

So, we weren't even at the zoo for 20 minutes when my flip flop broke. I had to walk around with one bare foot. I came across a cart to see if I could repair my flip flop with a stapler. It didn't work, and then the staple was just digging into the bottom of my foot....

So, almost $20 later, I got these horrible flip flops that felt like hard cardboard.  It was just a bad day to come to the zoo. 

Morgan Is Our Monkey!

Morgan started doing something that neither William or Emma ever did..... She is climbing out of her crib. So, to prevent an accident, we decided to open up the little door that we have on the crib so that she could exit through it vs. climbing over the rail. Well, now she likes the freedom of being able to come and go as she pleases. Ben and I don't like that too much, of course. On any good night, she would come out to us about 6-8 times before she would go to sleep.  On this particular night, Emma got sick and tired of Morgan getting out of bed so she decided to climb in with Morgan to help Morgan go to sleep. It worked like a charm!

Knott's Berry Farm 2009

We normally make our annual trip to Knott's Berry Farm in February, but we got rained out. So, this year, we made our trip in March. The whole family had a great time. We love Knott's Berry Farm!

While William was on his first roller coaster for the day, Emma made her first ride on the mini supreme scream.

William loves his roller coasters.

Morgan really enjoyed this ride. The second it was over, she was asking for more. 

Emma got these Minny Mouse ears at Disneyland, and she had to wear them today!

William was very excited to get the McDonald's car with Dziadzy.

William was nice enough to give Morgan a push here and there when her little arms got too tired to go herself.

The girls each got a cowgirl hat souvenir. (William got an Indian play set toy that I forgot to take a picture of. Opps!)

We decided to go on this ride figuring we wouldn't get too wet, but Ben ended up being the only one to get wet. Morgan and I only got sprinkles, but Ben was pretty soaked. 

Morgan was really enjoying her cotton candy.

While Morgan was waiting for William and Emma to get off a ride, she found another ride that she could go on....

Ben spun us like crazy on this Mexican Hat Dance ride, and Emma loved every minute of it.

William was finally tall enough to go on his first upside down roller coaster. He survived!

William's Crazy Hair Day

Today is St. Patrick's Day, but at William's school it was also Crazy Hair Day. Well, William doesn't have much hair to do anything super crazy, so we decided to color it. His hair reminds me of a character right out of a Dr. Seuss book.  He wanted to have his hair blue with random yellow dots. He is still a cute kid!

William Turns 7 At Disneyland!

Today is William's 7th Birthday! I can't believe I have a 7 year old. Yikes! Well, today we went to Disneyland.  We are trying to make Disneyland a yearly spring event, and this year it worked out really well. Disneyland is allowing people to come on their birthday, and get in for free. So, we got to have a day of fun, and pay for one less kid! =)  Disneyland makes it really special for the birthday guest. They give William a birthday pin with his name on it. All day long, the employees and the fellow Disney guests were wishing William birthday wishes. He felt like a star! It was a wonderful day for all of us. 

William has been wanting to go on Splash Mountain since last year, but it just didn't work out until this year. He absolutely loved it. Emma wasn't too sure about the huge drop, but she still had fun.

William's mouth was HUGE in this photo. It is hilarious. Emma just looks scared.

The girls were excited to wear their princess dresses today. They got compliments all day long.

William was hoping that being 7 would help give him strength to pull the sword out of the stone, but it didn't. Sorry William! Maybe next year.

A year didn't make Emma strong enough either.

Morgan wasn't really trying to pull out the sword. She was just more intrigued to touch the sword.

Daddy went with Morgan for a ride on the tea cups. She was laughing throughout the entire ride.

William and Emma went with me. We tried to spin the tea cup as fast as we could.

I love the kids standing in front of the White Rabbit's house. They look so huge. But still cute.

Throughout the day, William was getting phone calls. Everyone wanted to wish him a very Happy Birthday!

The new and improved Small World ride opened up. The boys were ready to see it.

The girls were excited for It's a Small World also. This was Morgan's favorite ride.  (And yes... Morgan is still making the funny  face when she says "Cheese")

The kids really enjoy Toon Town. They love the crazy atmosphere that is portrayed there.

William was a bit concerned riding this Toon Town roller coaster by himself, but he had a good time.

This is Emma's face on the Toon Town roller coaster when we went down the first major drop. She had a good time, but the initial face is classic!

William loves the chance to drive. He enjoyed cruising around with Daddy.

The girls had a good time too. Emma was a good driver. When she got tired, Morgan took over.

Morgan is getting so big, and she is just so freakin' cute.

We just walked through the Tarzan tree house, and William wanted to see if he could climb the ropes like Tarzan.

Morgan enjoyed the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, as long as Daddy had a good hold on her.

William was trying to be scary on the pirates ride.

And Emma was all smiles because she was sitting between Oma and Dziadzy. (My parents met up with us at Disneyland at about 2:30)

William was so anxious to go on the Matterhorn ride. Emma had never been on there, so she didn't care either way if we went on the ride. I didn't tell Emma much about the ride just because I thought she wouldn't want to go on it. She ended up loving the ride, and asked to do a repeat performance. She is a surprising girl!

William was the only one awake to see the firework show. But even William looked pretty tired.

We weren't even on the tram to go back to the car for 15 seconds and William was OUT!
