Morgan's 9 Month Well Baby Check-Up

It is so hard to believe, but Morgan is already 9 months old. Yikes! She is growing up way too fast. She had her well baby check -up and she is doing great. She weighs 17 lbs. and she is 27 in. tall. She is still the most well-tempered baby I have ever met. She is so good that it is sometimes hard to believe there is a baby in the house. She is our angel.
Morgan is still not crawling yet, but she sure is on the move. She can scoot around anywhere she wants to go. She is trying so hard to keep up with her big brother and sister.
She has the right idea for crawling. She gets into this position and she does start to rock. She will be crawling any day now.
She also likes to get her little bottom in the air. She may even do the Tarzan crawl like Emma did.

Morgan's Playtime

While Morgan's brother, sister, and cousin were outside playing with the truck, Morgan got some quality floor playtime.
I asked Morgan: "How big's Morgan?" She was raising her arms to say "Sooo Big!" She really is getting big.

Some Cousin Time

Heidi, Dan and Daniel came on over from Arizona for a quick visit. The cousins had a great time together.
We went shopping at the outlets. When we were walking, Daniel stuck out his little arm so that Emma could hold it while we were walking. Too Cute!
Emma and Daniel had a great time together on our shopping trip.
We had dinner over with my parents after church. The cousins got to spend some more time together. They enjoyed driving this truck, but William was the only one able to drive. Emma and Daniel's legs couldn't reach the gas pedal. Emma and Daniel were the passengers.
Little Princess Emma was patiently waiting her turn to be driven around by William.
She finally got her turn!

Easter 2008

Happy Easter! We started out the morning with the kids going through their baskets, and then we decorated some eggs. We went to church, and we ended up down at Oma and Dziadzy's house for their wonderful Easter dinner. We had a great day with loads of fun.
The kids were very good because the Easter bunny gave them a lot of goodies.
Morgan was very excited with her new toys.
Emma loved everything....especially the candy. Surprise, surprise!
William apprecitates anything...especially candy!

William was enjoying double dipping the eggs to invent new colors. He kept saying he was an "artist"
Emma liked checking the eggs to make sure they achieved their perfect color.
Morgan sat back with her new toy that she got from the Easter bunny, and just watched her brother and sister decorate.
We even decorated Morgan a little bit.
Here were the kids in their Easter best!

After dinner, the kids and Oma and Dziadzy played a round of croquet. They had fun.

Easter Egg Hunt 2008

Our church didn't have an Easter Egg Hunt this year, so we went to the local hunt. It happened so quickly that I didn't get any good pictures. The kids still had a great time racing for the eggs and candy.

William Lost His 1st Baby Tooth

William is growing up way too quickly. His bottom tooth has been loose for a little while, but Ben was flossing his teeth and saw that William's adult tooth was already coming to the surface. So, Ben pulled it. It popped right out with much ease. William was so excited.

Sorry! I know this video is dark. William was asking Ben how the Tooth Fairy will get his tooth out from under his pillow. In this video, Ben explains and demonstrates how the Tooth Fairy does it.

Morgan Discovers Balloons

We discovered some pirate balloons that we bought for William's party, but we never put up. Morgan was going crazy over the balloons. She was watching William and Emma throw them up, and she watched as they floated down. She was getting so excited that she was kicking her arms and legs everywhere!

Bath Babes

I was giving Emma a bath. When I took her out, she put on her towel and was jumping around saying "I'm a flower, I'm a flower!" So, I had to get a picture of my flower.
Afterwards, I gave William a bath. So, I had to take a picture of my little froggy too!

William's Pirate Birthday Bash

We did a pirate party for William's birthday, and boy did everyone have fun. We had a total of 12 kids running around. It was a good turn out for his party.
We started off with a treasure hunt. The kids were given a clue which led them somewhere in the house. Each location gave them a piece of their pirate costume, plus another clue to lead them to the next location and pirate gear. The kids were very excited during this adventure.
Little Morgan was the cutest little pirate. She was so good during the party so that I could run the party.
The kids enjoyed decorating their little treasure chests with jewels and things.
Pin the Eye Patch on the Pirate was a lot of fun for the kids.
The kids enjoyed digging for buried treasure.

The kids were digging for buried treasure. Everyone had to find a treasure box, but only one got the real treasure (prize)
William was a good sport. He kept on his costume all day! He loved it.

William's Pirate Birthday Bash- cont.

The pinata malfunctioned. Only William and Emma got a chance at hitting the pinata properly before the entire thing fell to the ground with the candy still inside. So, all the kids ran up and started beating on it with their pirate swords. Ben ended up picking up the pinata and breaking it over his knee to get the candy. The kids didn't seem to mind.

Emma was having fun trying to collect as much candy as she could! (She got some help from Aunt Na!)

Happy 6th Birthday William!

William's actual birthday was low key. I brought in cupcakes to his classmates at school, and we had a special birthday dinner of his choice at home. He wanted crepes and bacon, and wanted a lemon cake for dessert. He is an easy kid to please, but he got his wishes.

We were at the park for our weekly playdate, and Morgan was just having the best time on her blanket. She was very curious about the grass that surrounded her, but not curious enough to touch it.
