William's 1st Day of School

Well, we finally have a child in school. Today was William's first day of kindergarten. His teacher's name is Ms. Benson. He is definitely going to do well in school. =)

We wanted William to start the day off right. We made him a special breakfast of his choice. He wanted pancakes and bacon. He got his wish!
Emma was also so excited for William. If it was up to her, she would be starting kindergarten too.
William was so excited to start school. He was so happy when we got there.
He is official. He checked in with his teacher and got his name tag.
William was showing us his skills on the playground. He is going to do very well in school.

I got to stay for a parent orientation, but Ben took Morgan and Emma home for a little bit. Emma was so concerned with William not being home with her. This will be an adjustment for her. She loves having her brother home to play with her.

This was William's 1st time lining up to go into his kindergarten class for the first time. He is now officially a student.
William was having fun trying to keep up with the teacher in doing the hand movements for some fun songs.
William is such a big kid. I can't believe he is a kindergarten kid!
We took William for a special treat at McDonald's after school. We wanted to make sure he felt really special on this great day. He loves McDonald's, so that's where we went.

'Twas The Night Before Kindergarten

William has been anticipating school for weeks now. He was so happy when he found out school would be starting the next morning.
We set out all of William's school clothes so that he could choose which outfit he wanted to wear his first day.
William got this book a couple of weeks ago. We saved it so that I could read it to him the night before his first day.
It's hard to go to sleep when you are so excited!
Ben gave William a blessing. We knew that William would have a great first day! =)

The Wave

Oma and Dziadzy thought it would be fun to go to The Wave this past Saturday. It was nice that we could go before everything starts getting hectic with school.
William was enjoying going on the rafts with Dziadzy. William is a dare-devil. He even went on the huge water slides with Dziadzy. Unfortunately, they were too quick when coming down, so I never got a picture of them.
Emma would also be a dare-devil if there wasn't a height requirement. So, she just had fun in the pool, the moat, and the kiddie section of the water park. She still had fun.

Emma loves to go anywhere that Oma goes. They spent a lot of time in the moat.
Morgan was such a good sport. All the adults took turns sitting with Morgan. She slept the whole day. She just woke up to feed and then she would fall back asleep. She is such a good baby.

The kids were enjoying splashing around in the pool with Oma. It's always fun to splash each other. =)
Emma was enjoying jumping off of the wall into Oma's arms. I tried getting her mid-jump, but I didn't. This face was too funny though. She looks like she was half way expecting to get water in her face.
I think everyone enjoyed the moat most. William loved how the current would push him along.
Everyone stopped swimming for a much needed churro break. William and Emma love their churros.

Our Fashion Diva is at it again!

Emma likes to be dressed for all events. I put Emma down for a nap in a nice cool outfit because it has been so hot lately. When I went in to check on her, apparently my outfit didn't fit the occasion. She redressed herself in a dress. Of course her outfit wasn't complete until she added the shoes and the purse. She is hilarious.

Trip To The Beach

Between being really pregnant, and then having a newborn in the house, we haven't had any chances to go to the beach this summer. We made it a point to go yesterday, especially since William starts school in a week and a half. It was a beautiful day. We love living in Southern California. The kids had tons of fun, and we got loads of pictures. So, enjoy!

Morgan is enjoying her first experience of an ocean breeze.
This was Morgan's first time sticking her little feet in the ocean. She wasn't too sure about it. She kept pulling her feet up.
