NYE 2008

We all met up at my parents' house to ring in the new year. It was nice because Heidi, Dan and the boys were there, and Di and Josh were there too. We had a great time together.

We all wondered what we would do with all our time while waiting for midnight. Well, Josh found something fun and amusing to do. Ben had gotten up early for work, so he was exhausted. Well, Josh took advantage of Ben taking a snooze. 

Heidi was "kind" enough to supply all the kids with horn blowers. Of course, she gave them out about 5 minutes before her and Dan took off. Thanks Heidi! 

So, did the kids make it to midnight? Nope!

Snow!

Our day today took us to a surprising trip up to Julian. We started out at Legoland, but it was way too crowded. So, we just decided to head up to Julian to see if we could find any snow. The kids have never seen snow, and William has been asking about it a lot lately. Unfortunately there wasn't much snow around. There were some piles of dirty snow, but after kicking off the dirty parts, the kids had a blast. (We do have a trip planned in January up to Big Bear so that the kids can experience the full fun of snow!) 

My mom handed Morgan some snow. The second her little hand felt the coldness, she dropped it. 

And she was very skeptical to touch it again... at first!

William was all about getting the snow, and throwing it at his little sister.

Emma didn't mind tossing it right back at William.

Here are the kids kicking at the dirty snow so that they could get to the clean stuff.

Morgan eventually decided she would try holding the snow. She ended up really liking it.

One of the stores had these cute displays outside. 

The kids found some more snow, and they had fun throwing it at me and my mom.

The Cousins Meet Up!

We all went over to my Uncle Tony and Aunt Brenda's house to just hang out. This was the first time the cousins got together since my sister came out to visit. They were so sweet together. It really makes me sad that William, Emma and Morgan don't have their cousins around to play with. 

My uncle loves trains, so when he got some of his trains out, William and Emma were very distracted by them.

Morgan was getting acquainted with Daniel. They were so cute just jabbering at each other. 

And Morgan even felt the need to give a hug to her sweet cousin =)   Way Sweet!

The Kids were playing so nice together. 

And here is Baby Matthew. This was my first time meeting him, and he sure is a sweetie!

Inseparable

William and Morgan are inseparable. It is so sweet how Morgan is so close to William. She truly loves him, and loves to spend time with him. 

William was laying by the front door playing with his new computer, so Morgan decided to get her computer, and she parked it right next to William.

William is so sweet to show her how to use objects that are new to her.

He is a good big brother!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to everyone! Our family had another wonderful Christmas. The kids were very good again this year, so they definitely made out with tons of presents!  =)

I made the mistake of giving Emma her present that contained dress-up stuff first! After that, her attention was hard to obtain.

William eagerly opened all of his presents.

Morgan is our little climber. Whenever she sees a box or something on the floor that she can stand on, she goes right to it.

Our little angels had a great Christmas!

Christmas Eve!

As usual, our family went down to my parents' house to celebrate Christmas Eve. The kids were anticipating going down to their house all day. They were so excited!

Morgan was so cute. She would only unwrap her presents enough to see what was inside it, then she would start to play with it.

Emma wanted to show how this box was almost as tall as her.

William was quite excited that Aunt Na got him the Ben 10 watch.

As the evening was coming to an end, Morgan got her feet rubbed with lotion by Oma. She started zoning so much.

Emma Has Skill!

Growing up, I always used to do hand-stands on the wall. I was curious to see if this "old body" could still do it. Well, I could =) Of course, when Emma saw me do it, she had to try too. She did a head-stand though.... and she did a great job!
