The Reason For The Season

We decorated the house for Christmas. Morgan is really enjoying all the decorations. She really enjoys our nativity scene. She consistently climbs up on my cabinet to look at it. It just warms my heart that her little interests are drawn to this very special and most important Christmas decoration.

Emma caught on too! She wanted to see what Morgan was all interested in.

William and Dziadzy's Creation

William and Emma slept over at my parents' house after Thanksgiving. One of the fun activities that William and Dziadzy did together was building this cool car out of Tinkertoys. I have to admit, Dziadzy did most of the work! =)

Happy Thanksgiving!

We went to my parents' house for Thanksgiving dinner (as usual)! We had the best of time just hanging out, and having fun. 

The girls are crazy about their Aunt Na.

Emma got a kick out of helping Oma out in the kitchen. (But she lost interest very quickly)

The kids took advantage of playing Aunt Na's Wii. They enjoyed bowling.

The girls enjoyed watching the rain that we had. It gave the holiday a more cozy feel.

William thought everyone should get some whip cream.

Morgan was really enjoying getting cuddles from Dziadzy.  She is too precious.

Ice Skating Fun!

William didn't have school on Tuesday because of Veterans' Day. We took the opportunity to go down to La Jolla to the UTC mall to have a nice lunch, shop, and also ice skate. We had a blast. This was the kids first time ice skating, and they did very well. None of us broke anything, so it was a very successful trip! 

Here is a before picture. At least they were able to stand with their skates on. I was feeling very inspired!

Emma was very confident during her entire skating session.

William had tons of fun as Aunt Na was helping him move faster along on the ice.

I liked this little pose. Aunt Na is such a great aunt. When she spends time with the kids, it is real quality time, and the kids absolutely love it. 

William was a very cautious skater. He was really concerned about falling. (Which I don't blame him. Who really likes to fall down?)

Little Morgan was our judge today. She gave Emma and William a perfect 10 for courage, success, and effort.

Emma sure is close to her Oma and Aunt Na. Can't you feel the love?

I asked Morgan: "How big is Morgan?" So, she showed us she was "so big" by putting her arm up. But, she took her other arm, and used her hand to cover her armpit so that we couldn't tickle her.  She is too funny, and one smart cookie!

William took this picture. He was fascinated when they were cleaning the ice.

Emma discovered the shaved ice. She and William were having fun making mini snowballs and throwing them at each other.

We survived! The kids had so much fun, but Emma was bummed because she wasn't ready to be done skating.

The girls just love the camera. They were digging in my purse, and came across the camera. They automatically brought it to me and wanted to have a photo shoot. Well, the camera sure does love them!

My Kids Love The Simple Things In Life... BALLOONS!

My kids love balloons! They are always so thrilled whenever they get one. It is just so sweet and innocent. We were at Rubies having lunch, and when the kids realized the "balloon lady" was there, they were so stoked!

And Morgan got a cute ladybug bracelet. She loved it!

The Girls Had A Great Day

I got the opportunity to work with my mom at William's school. Ben had to work, so my dear and sweet friend Joanne watched the girls for me.  She took the girls down to the beach for a nice walk. The girls had the best of time with Miss Joanne. They had a great day.

Not only was Joanne nice enough to watch the girls for me, she took pictures too!

Morgan Is One Of The Big Kids!

We were at our weekly park play date, and normally Morgan enjoys just hanging out with me under the umbrella. Not this week. She was everywhere. She was climbing up stuff, and sliding down slides. She was definitely trying to keep up with the other big kids. 

She had such a great time. Also, note Morgan's wet bottom. One of the slides had a puddle of water at the bottom of it =)

I think all my kids are destined to become photographers. They just absolutely love to take pictures.

Red Ribbon Week

William's school had their Red Ribbon Week where it teaches kids that drugs are bad for you, and to say no to drugs. 

William is demonstrating how strong and cool he is since he doesn't take drugs.

And he is also showing how healthy he is by not taking drugs! He looks pretty healthy to me =)

Starting Out November Right!

Ben was at work, so we decided to take advantage of the warm weather (since it wasn't too hot!) and go to Legoland. We went for about 4 hours, and the kids had a great time. Even Morgan got to get a little bit more hands-on.

Morgan enjoyed the Fairytale Book Ride. They even had misters going, and she enjoyed it when it went on her.

We all had to take turns getting eaten by the lion.

Morgan enjoyed running around the Lego play houses. She found this lego block and wouldn't put it down.

It looks like that slide was a little bit more slippery than William had thought.

What a good big brother! He took Morgan down the slides too.

You never realize how big your kids are until you see them next to someone smaller. William towers over Morgan!

Each kid enjoyed looking at different things on the train ride.

Emma did really good driving. She definitely had more control.

William was a big supporter of Emma and her well-deserved drivers license.

William looks like he was concentrating really hard.

And his concentration paid off. He got a license too =)

The kids got an ice cream treat, and decided to spend some time with this lego man.

The kids really enjoy this spinning boat. They rode it two times in a row. Even as the ride is going, you can hear Emma's laugh.

The kids love to get the viewers wet. William was just about to get me wet as he came nearer. What a stinker!

Emma loves this beetle bounce. The girl next to her was crying. She kept looking at her and going "what the heck?" (to coin Emma's new phrase)

William loves to be daring. His hands never came down.

Of course we ended our day with a popcorn treat while watching the firefighter show. The kids really do love that show!
