A Funny Sleeper

I know this picture is a little bit blurry, but I didn't want the flash to wake her. I went in to check on her, and she was in this crazy position. She was holding onto her pant legs while she was sleeping. She is such a funny girl.

Emma Wants To Say Her ABCs

Emma loves to sing songs, especially her ABCs. She has known her ABCs for about a year, but she has been improving it. =) She omits 'm' and 'n' because that part always goes way too fast in the song. She also loves to count up to 13, but after that, she likes to make up numbers that sound right to her. It is so amazing how little minds catch on to things.

Opportunity to Make Up Friday

We woke up this morning and it wasn't raining, so we decided to take advantage of the good weather and make up what we were supposed to do yesterday. This week has been full of fun, and we are sorry that this week is over. It will be hard to get back into the routine on Monday morning. We have just loved spending some family time together.

William surprised Emma. She was just about to go down the slide solo when William jumped on with her. She laughed about it once she knew who was behind her.

The kids took some time to be creative. When asked what they were building, they both said missiles.

Emma didn't like this exhibit too much. She stayed in the stroller so that William could have all the "fun"
Morgan liked getting out of the carrier. The entire time she was trying to reach for our popcorn.

Opportunity to Make Up Friday- Cont.

Emma got to drive on these cars for the first time today. She really enjoyed it, except that she kept crashing into the walls. We need to work on her steering =)
William is a pro. He is ready to move on to the next course. He will be ready next month since the minimum age is 6 years.
William and Emma love the Story Book ride. Emma and William kept getting each other excited by saying "look at the wolf" or "he is going to jump at you." They are just having some good sibling fun.
Morgan is so much more aware. She really enjoyed the Story Book ride. She was looking at everything.

Presidents' Week- Day 5 of Fun

The weather has not been on our side during our little week vacation. We were supposed to go to Legoland today, but the weather had other plans. We decided to stay at home since our week has been so eventful. We decided to build a tent in our front room. The kids had fun playing in there.

Presidents' Week- Day 4 of Fun

Since weather was permitting, we were able to go to the Wild Animal Park today. It was a nice cool day and we had tons of fun.

William and Emma enjoyed comparing themselves to a gorilla. They enjoyed seeing the gorillas. They actually just watched Disney's Tarzan, so they were just in the right mood.



William and Emma enjoyed watching these little guys run around. They were behind a glass, but Emma kept running along side them.

Presidents' Week- Day 4 of Fun- Cont.

William loves to be my goofy boy. He is so much fun. He has a great sense of humor.
We all stopped to have a picnic lunch. Oma was sharing some apple sauce with Little Miss Morgan. She loved it!
We were out watching all the elephants when they started making their noises. Emma was showing me her impression of an elephant.
It was so cool to see all the giraffes. We even got to see some good views of baby ones too.

Presidents' Week- Day 4 of Fun- Cont.

We had taken a little snack break on this little walkway. William thought it would be funny if they would all freeze whenever a person passed by. It was pretty funny, but it was even funnier since Oma was participating too.
There was a section where the kids could have some fun on playground equipment. It was funny to watch Emma because she is such a leader. She found a friend while playing here who was 7 years old. The 7 year old was following Emma around doing what Emma wanted. It is hard to believe that an almost 3 year old can be the leader of a group of kids where the kids are all older than her. She has a lot of strong qualities that will be great for her later in life.
William wanted to show off his balancing skills, so he found something that he could use as a balance beam.
William had just finished coming down the pole like a fireman. He had just enough time to flash me a smile before he was off playing some more.
It is nice to having siblings.

Presidents' Week- Day 4 of Fun- Cont.

The kids absolutely love the petting zoo. It is so sweet how they come up so gently upon the animals and pet them.
This little animal was sleeping and Emma wanted to make sure she didn't wake him while she petted him.
We just finished shopping for our souvenirs and Emma was most excited about the lolipop she got.
William liked his "spy scope." He plans on taking this to all of our zoo visits from now on. He wants to make sure he can see all the animals really good.

Presidents' Week- Day 3 of Fun

Today is day 3 of William's break, and it really was raining. So, we had to change our plans to compensate for the weather. But, it still turned out to be a great day anyways. We started our morning off by going to the YMCA open gym. The kids get to play on tons of gymnastic equipment. The kids really love it there.
Emma loves the balance beam. She has very good balance.
William loves the foam pit. He loves it even more when Ben comes along so that Ben can chuck him into it.
Emma had a graceful fall after running the long trampolline. She just looked cute, and it was worthy of a picture. =)
William is my little tarzan. Swinging from the ropes is one of his favorite parts of the open gym.

Presidents' Week- Day 3 of Fun- Cont.

William was showing me his skills! He is a very strong boy.
Morgan was enjoying watching her brother and sister do fancy tricks. She would laugh, thinking they were entertaining her.
Emma loves to swing from anything. She is my monkey.
William likes the high balance beam. His favorite part is jumping off of it when he reaches the end.
Emma loves the foam pit. It is very hard to climb out of it though.

Although Miss Morgan couldn't run around like her big brother and sister, she still enjoyed playing with this hula hoop.

After we were through with the open gym, we had some lunch and decided our day was not over. We went bowling for part of the afternoon. We had a lot of fun.
William was so excited to bowl. He has been "practicing" at home with Ben on the PS3
He was bowling pretty well. He even was able to pull off a spare =)
Emma was really enjoying her bowling experience as well. Her fingers were too small for the holes, but she still managed.
She loved to watch as her ball went rolling down the alley.
