Thanksgiving Day

 

 

 

 

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day! The day started out with a football game for Brady and Jason, cooking for me, the Macy's parade on TV for Hailee and Megan, and a lazy breakfast for Addi. We then went to Nana and Pop's for a DELICIOUS meal, go-cart riding, gun shooting, pie eating, Settler's of Cataan playing, baby holding, fun day! It was so enjoyable to have so many family members all together. That evening we came home and put up the Christmas tree and decorated the house. The kids love that! Addi is amazed by the tree and loves to just sit by it and gently touch it. Our family has so many things to be thankful for and I loved having a day to reflect on our many blessing.

Camping Trip

Our family loves to get away and go camping. The kids love everything about it - the food, the trailer, getting dirty, playing outside, and especially the fire. The best part of it all though is having our whole family together. This was Addison's first camping trip. I was very worried about how she would do with the extreme cold and sleeping in the trailer. But, as Jason put it - it is in her blood. She did fabulous!!!!

Our Week

 

 

 

 

This has been a busy week of meetings, appointments, school activities, and parties. Addi had to go get her 2nd flu shot. She was not a happy camper afterwards so I let her play in the tupperware cabinet. Megan had her soccer party to celebrate the end of the season. I must admit - it will be nice to have our Saturday's back for a little while. Brady was in his classroom Thanksgiving play and did such a good job. He memorized his lines perfectly and said them loud enough for all to hear. I was so proud of him! Needless to say, this meant Addi had to spend a lot of time in her stroller!

Sunday Paper

Our family loves to read the Sunday paper! I love the city section, Jason loves the Classified, Hailee loves the ads, and Megan and Brady love the comics. Addi is now getting into it also as you can see!

A Day in the Life...

Here are some pictures from this past week. Addi is crusing everything now and loves to walk holding onto the furniture but she had still not gotten up the courage to just let go and take off. She will unload the drawers, bookcases, diaper baskets, and play kitchen in seconds though. She is a busy little girl! If we are even having a really bad day we will go into the kids room while they are at school and let her unload their baskets and drawers. She thinks that is the greatest!
