My Megan is 10!

Today my sweet Meggie turned 10! Wow, where have the years gone? It seems like only yesterday she was my strawberry blond, fuzzy headed, giant blue eyed little munchkin. She is such a wonderful young woman. She is adorable, artistic, kind, funny, smart, and loving. Meg can talk like no one I know -- you get her one on one and she will talk your ear off. I love it! We had fun going on a mother/daughter date last night to pick out her birthday presents and get dinner. I had the stomach bug all day so unfortunantly did not take any pictures, but she choose her favorite breakfast of crepes with whipped cream, strawberries, and bananas. Tonight is her birthday party. We sure love our little Meggie and are so grateful she is in our family!

Zoo Time

We are so excited that it is zoo time again - we love the zoo! My kids had off Valentine's Day (a teacher work day) so we decided to enjoy the beautiful weather outside and head off for a day at the zoo. We even had Addi miss her nap so that we could stay all day. We had a blast!

Preschool Valentine's Party

 

 

Addi loved her Valentine's party at school! This is the first year she has really gotten into Valentine's Day and it was so fun. She is still carrying around her cards from her friends in her little mailbox.

ANOTHER SNOW DAY!!!

Wow -- what a snowy, icy winter it has been! We had another snow day, but at least this one was snow only. Our family spent the next morning making personal snowmen. It was so cute to see what they created and the personal touches each added to them! That day it did get warm and the snow melted. You can tell how warm it got by the absence of winter gear... AND by the fact that Addi had to add a little spring to the mix by blowing bubbles.
