Megan is 8!

 

 

 

 

Our little Meggie turned 8 today! I can't believe she is that old already. It seems like she was just my little spikey-haired, sweet baby yesterday. Time with her has flown! She has been such a joy to raise so far. She is extremely artistic, sensitive, caring, affectionate, kind, smart, stubborn, popular, and little. We celebrated with her favorite breakfast - crepes with whipped cream, strawberries, and bananas. She then had a field trip for school that her daddy got to go on with her. This afternoon she went for ice cream and shopping with Nana. She then had her favorite dinner of cheeseburgers, fruit salad, tator tots, and chocolate cake for dessert. How I love this girl and what a blessing she is!

Everyday is a new adventure!

 

 

 

 

I love looking at life through a child's eyes! Everyday is a new adventure to Addi with new things to discover! She is getting VERY bored being at home during the day with the other kids all at school, so we have begun to go on daily outings most days. She loves outside so we go to the park a lot now. We also tried the indoor mall playgroud which she loved. For days when we do not leave, a long morning bath is fun for her or playing in my make-up and using my toothbrush. She is the funniest kid, with the funniest faces!

Benihana's

 

 

 

I have not been in the blog mood lately, but I am trying to get back into it, so I am now playing catch up. For the kids birthday's we always take them on a mommy, daddy, and child date anywhere they want to go. Hailee chose to try something new. We went to Benihana's and had a blast! She tried so many new things and loved them all. She decided now that she loves ginger sauce, shrimp, and fried rice after trying them all for the first time. We loved our date with her and so enjoyed the one on one time we had.

Dramatic already????

 

 

Addi is a child of many faces! She is so cute and dramatic already. Yes, I know that it is cute now, but will not be as cute later. She cracks us up all of the time! She has been SOOO sick for the past 10 days but is finally better. They actually thought she had whopping cough, but luckily the test came back negative. She had a double ear infection and chest infection and ran a fever for 6 days straight. She has been coughing now for almost 4 weeks. We are so ready for our household to be well again!!! She went to the doctor for her 15 month check up and shots and she is in the 6%for weight and 80% for height. The little princess only weighs 19 lbs. She lost 1 1/2 lbs. from being sick. And, I looked in her mouth last week only to find that she has a molar.....what, she only has 5 total teeth in front and now a molar???? I sure love this little one!

Birthday Party

 

Hailee had her birthday party Friday night with her 4 best friends and they had a ball! We started with pizza and cookie dough ice cream cake, then the girls went ice skating, and we finished up here with a slumber party. They are all such sweet, well-mannered girls and were so easy to have. I still can't believe my first baby is 12!
