The Winnie the Pooh stories begin...






AS TIGGER ONCE SAID, " The wonderful thing about tiggers, is tiggers are wonderful things. Their tops are made of rubber, their bottoms are out of springs. Their bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy, fun,fun,fun,fun,fun. But the most wonderful thing about tiggers is i'm the only one. IIII'm the only one!"

Tanalee is proving to be just that, the only "T-i-gg-er". She is a true fighter and everyone seems to be amazed in her strength and ability to hang on for that transplant. In my eyes she has surpassed all expectations for her condition...she bounces back after a grueling night and patiently she waits like the cute baby she is.

The last few weeks Jeremy and I have been focusing on reading to TanaLee and giving her some mental stimulation. So far all has gone good, we have lots of good books we've been collecting to read to her when we visit.

POOH SAID, " When I up, down, and touch the ground. It puts me in the mood, up, down,touch the ground..for food."

You may have noticed that she has two tubes in her nose in two of the photos. She tried to feed on some milk but it turned to be unsuccessful. :( I guess you could say that she had a rumbly in her tumbly...So we wait for another day when the Doc's might try again.

POOH also sang a song that seems to fit my mood lately..lol
"I'm just a little black rain cloud, hovering under the honey tree." I think Jeremy is singing "its rather a blustery day."

This the latest for us up in the rainy state of Washington.

TanaLee has been having bleeding inside of her stomach since the night of the 17th. It had been coming up her stomach cathleter until 6 oclock this morning. It has still been coming out of her ostomy sight. Tonight when they where changing her ostomy padding she had Dark Blood gushing out of the sight. They have been giving her tranfussions all night and all day, so hopefully the bleeding in her stomach will solve itself.

TanaLee is still holding strong at 182 days old! We've made it to 6 months!

She has trouble with her body temperature lately so the Doctors are set on not putting her in a crib as I was hoping. I have been really pressing the issue to have some mental stimulation for her but its difficult when they wont let her have a mobile and seems like everything I put in her bed to look at they loose or take out. So that's really the latest, there have been no changes to her vent settings are stuff like that. They just chase her with blood product and try and keep her comfy while she waits on that liver.

Jeremy and I went to the zoo on Tuesday that was the best! The weather was amazing and we got to see more animals up and about which was nice. The lions were out!!! they sleep like 20 hours a day but the male woke up and walked around for a little bit. I got to feed the giraffe's really up-close but I didn't get any pictures with me doing that..sorry. You can see in the giraffe picture there is a man standing up high in blue..thats were I got to feed them! The meerkats exhibit was open! They were all so little and fidgety..but fun to watch run and play. So yes our zoo experience was awesome, just wish Vanessa and Samantha could have seen it too. We will take you all when you visit. :) (we got lots of pictures but I couldn't post them all, but we had to show you what the zoo is like here)

Hello everyone!

We just had a great time with Steve, Kimberly, Mindy. They came yesterday to visit our little one and left this afternoon. We all just hung out and played games and caught up on the latest with each other. Went and saw TanaLee. We even went to Rainforest cafe. That was nice, the food was good and the atmosphere was well jungle like.

TanaLee has had no major changes except that her belly continues to grow and the Dr's are trying to manage her pain. Still waiting on a liver...that's about it for the news for her. Til we blog again.
