New Year’s Eve

We didn’t really have any plans for New Year’s Eve, but Nana wanted to keep the boys so we decided we would go to dinner and a movie.  Since the boys were going to be “partying” at Nana’s, we decided to paint party hats!

    

 

They made them for us and Nana too.  We ended up going to eat at Grubs with two other couples and were planning to go to a movie, but instead decided to get ice cream and watch a movie at home.  I saw the ball drop in NY and went to bed!  It’s very likely that the boys were up later than I was!

Fun night!

Meme and Grandpa kept all of the kids at our house tonight so that we could all go to dinner together!  It was so fun.  We went to Pesto Cafe and enjoyed my favorite Italian food.  So good!

 

Ray Ray brought their three wii controllers so they had 5 people playing mario kart at once.  When we got home, we found Cole and Cade in Cade’s bed and tons of candid photos on my camera.  They also put Cade in footed pj’s.  It made him look a year younger…so sweet!  Ray Ray is so good with them!

      

That didn’t last long.  They jumped up as soon as we got home and the whole house was playing again!  Loved having all of the cousins around!  Wish we could do it more often!

Jammies, shorts, football jersey, power ranger mask and sword…yep, it’s just a typical day at our house!

 

I can’t get over how great this weather is!  The boys spent the afternoon riding their new dune racer.  Cade is SO excited that he can now keep up with Cole.  I was worried we’d have fights over driving but every time I looked up they had swapped between the motorcyle and the racer.  They had no problems taking turns!

    

This will never get old to me…my boys taking breaks to bring me flowers (umm…weeds).  Love it!

   

Christmas Day!

We all got up around 6 and the boys couldn’t wait to see what Santa brought them.  Cole got a bow & arrow, light saber, baseball tee, games, samauri village, and more.  Cade also got a bow & arrow, light saber, remote control construction zone, games, baseball bat and more.  There was a lot of excitement!

Around 8:30, Kyle’s whole family came over and we hosted a huge breakfast!  Biscuits, gravy, bacon, eggs, homemade cinnamon rolls, and hashbrowns!  Thank you dad for the House of Webster! It was wonderful and we really enjoyed having everyone over in their jammies.  Once breakfast was over, we all got ready for Church.  This is my only shot of the boys in their dressy clothes on Christmas and Cade was eating a twizzler that Santa brought him in his stocking…

Everyone came back for dinner and we cooked Pork Tendorloin on the egg.  The biggest hit was the Brussell Sprouts that made.  Pioneer Woman's Cranberry and Balsamic Brussell Sprouts.  Make them!  Even if you don't like sprouts normally, you'll love these!

We had a WONDERFUL Christmas and are so thankful for our family, friends and all that we have!

Christmas Eve

We spent the evening at Kyle’s parents house eating a great dinner, singing Christmas carols and playing games.  When we got home, uncle Trey and Nana came over to spend the night.  Trey brought Home Alone which is one of his all-time favorite movies.  Cole loved it too!  I hadn’t seen it in years and it was the perfect movie to watch.  Just before bed, Kyle and the boys sprinkled the reindeer food on the yard and left some carrots too.  We also left cookies and milk for the big guy!  Trey slept with Cade in his room and Nana slept on Cole’s trundle.  The boys were SO excited and already planning an early morning wake up call!

    

Making Cookies for Santa!

Everyone came over tonight to decorate sugar cookies for Santa!  I caught Cade (more than once) sucking the tube of icing and pouring sprinkles in his mouth from the shaker :)

Since it was Nopeo’s last night with us, he did something special.  He made Reindeer food for the boys to sprinkle outside on the lawn on Christmas Eve!  The boys were so excited and couldn’t believe that Nopeo made such a mess and was covered in flour.
