November

November...um, what happened to November?
JuJu is in gymnastics now. She loves the balance beam and the tramp, and the foam pit of course! She wants a red car with stripes and eyes for Christmas....Adrian and I had to ask other parents about this one...we were clueless...Cars...duh! She went to the agency today and gave them her "headshot." They asked for one so they will hopefully sign her when she turns 4. We'll feel it out, and I'm all for it if it's fun for her, and if she can save money for college this way, then even better!
Adrian wins the husband of the year award. He has been working non stop on the interior of our house, and it's all been a suprise to me! I came home one night to find brand new window treatments, and lighting and fixtures, and he just keeps doing more...and he has been helping me follow a schedule, within reason, I mean, it's me we are talking about. But it turns out, that well...structure aint all that bad. The shop looks great, and the Escapist gear is flying off the shelves. He's just really been so good to us...my stress levels have also decreasd since he added a mandatory date night to the calendar.
I finally saw one of my commercials on tv...you can check it out at thinkkansas.com. It's not a big deal, but it's better than the infomercials I've done! I'm still singing a regular jazz gig. Tomorrow is the Christmas Cantata at church. Ive really fallen in love with directing, and I am enjoying the fact that I am actually using skills I learned in college as a music major.
I can't wait to go home for the holidays!
JuJu went to Crown Center to see Santa with Naomi and Leslie and Stella and I. It was fun, and a little bitter sweet, since this is the last year we will see Santa with Naomi...they are moving this spring. Juliette got a little wild in the play area, and I told her that she better behave because Santa was watching her...and he was, with his arms folded. She quickly dismissed my warning and ran away, looking back at Santa with a grin...so the Santa threat is no good so far.
Hey, does anyone know how to organize photos on here...I'm as good at organizing a blog as I am organizing..well...anything. Help? I mean, look at the layout folks...just look the poor thing.

O Falling Tree, O Falling Tree

So the Zona Rosa tree... Juliette ran up to it right after I took this photo.
And she started screaming bloody murder. I ran up to her to see what
the problem was. She told me the tree was going to fall. I looked up, and the clouds were moving rapidly across the sky, making the tree seem as if it were swaying back and forth...it did look like it was about to tip...so later when we went to see the tree at night, she protested saying, "I don't like that tree, it'sa scary tree, it will fall on me." I told her trees don't fall on people at night. What a dumb answer right...but it worked.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was wonderful! Mom and Daddy, aka Darlin and Grandad came up. After eating turkey, we all went to a jazz ambassadors party for the Lighting of the Plaza...we had the best view from Merle's condo. JuJu loves her grandparents so much!

Halloween

Halloween was fun....Juliette and I went to a Gymboree trunk or treat party, and Daddy and I took her trick or treating with friends. After receiving her candy at the doorstep she would scream, "OKAY, let's go to the next station!" I dressed up as Mini Mouse a the last minute....very unexpected, but JuJu loved it.
