Portland, OR

JuJu and I had a wonderful time visiting my sister and her husband in Portland, OR. I took JuJU to my favorite place, haystack Rock on Canon Beach. It was hauntingly beautiful as always. JuJU fed the seals too!

My very preggers sister had a baby shower fit for a southern belle...Caroline has amazing girlfriends who go all out. I was a hostess but honestly, they did allll the work. I madce a diaper cakde though...best one I've ever made. I can't believe I just typed that.

Aunty Caroline took us to an amazing childrens/science museum called Omsi. They have what Dave calls pickled babies there...real fetuses from conception on...it's neat, and creepy.

We spent time in trendy shopping areas and Caroline gave me the best bath goodie bag from Lush. JuJu and I took bubble baths together in the big big tub every night.

JuJu and I had the BEST chocolate at a place near my sister's house. We took a ride on the tram above Portland. I just loved this trip.

It was so nice to see my sister and her giant belly...JuJu was kind enough to draw on it. Dave cooked homemade pizza for us and bought the best blueberry muffins every morning. Here are a ton of pictures. I can't wait to go back.

Snow, snow, and more snow

This was supposed to be the warmest winter on record...they LIE!!!!! But JuJu loves it! The Barbie House is now the Barbie Igloo, where she makes snow cones. This was a fun day, and quite a work out, chasing a three year old who drives like...well, me.

Christmas in Camden

What a wonderful holiday/vacation in Arkansas, as usual. We are grateful to have a tightly woven family, despite the distance between us. We missed Caroline and Dave, but they were chillin in a house with an infinity pool in Hawaii...can't blame them for skippin out on Arkansas...but just this once! Bet they didn't have Daddy's famous sausage balls there!

We enjoyed going to the LDS and Presbyterian churches in Camden. Juliette loved her John Deere Gator and gifts, but nothing compares to playing with cousins. Adrian and I had a romantic anniversary at the Peabody in Little Rock, and I gave him a replacement wedding band for the one he lost surfing.

Adrian gave me the mic of all mics for Christmas, plus two others. I can't wait to "mic check."

Mom spent the whole holiday cleaning after us...bless her. JuJu loves her so much! Daddy cooked chinese for us and never complained about the tiny toys littering his den. Scott bought a giant fire work display for the family to enjoy on New years...it was beautiful! Mamow was lovely in every way of course! Cousins and aunts and uncles came down...we had a blast!
