Hanging at the Beach

We have had a really busy Saturday...from shopping, to the movies, going on bike rides, also to the beach....I just thought I would add some pics of us at the beach (and you can also see Jeremy's mustache...he only has a week to go)

Jeremy decided to go for a swim. He said that it was FREEZING.

Texas A&M University beat t.u. 38-30 this year, and oh, how sweet it is!!! Jeremy, being the devoted Aggie that he is, got up early and listen to the game from our computer while watching some plays from another site. Here are some pics of my estatic husband after the game

Thanksgiving Aussie Style

Thanksgiving is one of our favorite holiday's so this year we were deteremined for it not to be sooo different. On Thursday, we ended up spending Thanksgiving with another American couple at their house. They have 2 little girls and her parents were in town, so it was nice to be with a family. We had the usualy turkey, pumpkin pie, with all of the goodies, but we also had some kangaroo sausage :-)

The next night, we fixed the tradtional Thanksgiving meal and here is a picture of Jeremy (just getting home from his ride home from work). We were about to enjoy our meal on our porch

By Popular Demand...THE "MOUSTACHE"

Jeremy continues to grow his Movember mustache, yet is counting down the days until he shaves it off...

Here is a pic of him after one week of growth, he hadn't shaved anything...


This was taken just after he shaved most of his beard off...he was preparing for the Movember "Moustache"...


Then here he is at the half way point. I personally do not feel like these pics do justice to it, because when you see him in person it just looks much fuller and darker :-)

The Gap and Natural Bridge

The Gap is a natural gap in between the limestone rock. The water from the Southern Ocean comes up into it and makes some of the most spectaclar views (especially on rough sea days), also the sounds of the water can simply be overwhelming. The power of the water and the sea is most definately felt.

A bridge was also formed in the same area. It is amazing how this rock is suspended and how water continues to beat away at it.

Can you see Jeremy on top of the rock? I would not let him go out on the cliff like he wanted :-)

Elphants Rock

If you look at the rocks and use your imagination a little you will be able to see that the middle rock looks similar to an elephant within a herd.

Then here is my adorable husband, looking as handsome as ever ;-)

Greens Pool

God is so amazing! The views are just spectacular, and as you know the pictures do not always capture the entire picture unfortunately.

Here is a picture of some water nestled behind some large limestone boulders that 'protect' it from the harsh Southern Ocean currents. It has this constant green color that is just unbelievable, and is safe to swim in.

Our Tree Top Walk

I love the drives down south because you go through some of the most beautiful forests. We also truly enjoy the Karri Trees down here, so a tree top walk was very appealing. This is composed of a bridge suspended in the air, that is only connected to the ground at four poles. The bridge even moves while you are walking across it. Some spectacular views!

One on our Favorite Places on Earth

With our travels we always seem to find a new "favorite" place. It seems that Conspicious Cliffs has now made that list. I usually only dream of beaches that are this secluded, beautiful and 'untouched'.

Every little boys dream...

This past weekend, we headed a bit southeast and visited MANY lovely cities and experienced so much. In one city, named Pemberton, we visited a tree called Gloucester Tree. To be honest, we were not exactly sure what we were going to see although we had heard it was a must see, so we went. When we arrived inside of a National Park, we discovered this 61 meter (200 feet) tree that had a latter on it for people to climb up.

At the very top there was a lookout house and even more stairs to climb. This was a MUST for Jeremy. He climbed to the top and said that it was 'every little boys deam' to climb a tree like that. The latter had nothing under it in case you fell through, so I decided to stay on the ground, praying the entire time that Jeremy would come down safely :-)

"MOVEMER"

WhAt!?! Yes...he is growing a "moustache" (more common spelling...mustache)! Can you believe it! I can bearly believe it to be honest with you. Trust me...it is growing and growing in fast. On the 1st of November he shaved clean with an actual razor and not an electircal one (so he got a very close shave), and since then no shaving. Technically he is only suppose to grow a mustache, however, he has been letting it all grow and today he got LOTS of slack for it. I think tomorrow he will shave a bit but probably still have a goatee for a little bit...we are trying to see how long he can get away with it, since just a mustache is a bit disturbing..haha

So you ask why? It is for a charity that Mustang is participating in. This month the chairty is to raise money for Men's Depression and Testicular Cancer.

3 Years ago today....

It is so hard to believe that 3 years ago Jeremy proposed to me! The sly yet romantic man that he is, flew from Aberdeen to Houston to surprise me, and he did! I could retell the entire story, but I am sure you have heard it or read it at least once! Of course, we celebrate our engagement night with one of our favorites, chocolate covered strawberries...More importantly I feel so blessed that God has allowed and blessed me to share and experience my life with such an amazing man, who constantly challenges me.

Red Bull Air Race

WOW! It is absolutely phenonmenal what the pilots at the Red Bull Air Race could actually do. I have seen pilots do 360 degree turns in their aircraft, stall out and head straight to the ground as if they were going to crash, etc. BUT this was the first time that I have actually seen them flip over. I am serious. If I had not seen it with my own eyes, I never would have believed it, but the tail literally flipped over the front. It was incredible. Not to mention how close these guys got to the water and the obstacles. They flew in between the blown up cones, flew sideways, upside down, etc....DADDY Bradford, you would have LOVED it! We were thinking of you and talking about you as we were there, wishing you were there!

As for the weekend...Jeremy was feeling much better this weekend compared to last (Last weekend he was in bed all day Saturday because he was sick) so we packed lots in! On Saturday Jeremy played golf in the morning and then we walked down to the river where the Red Bull Air Show was happening. On Sunday, we woke up for early church, then went to the Finals at the Air Show and then we left there and went to our first Aussie BBQ! It was great. It was one of our new friends birthday's and they had a bbq at their place. So much fun, chatting and getting to know new people while eating some good food (we tried grilled pumpkin for our first time..similar to a sweet potato taste). Anyway, we had a busy but fabulous weekend. Hope you enjoy some of the pics!
