Happy Birthday Kehnley!
Last weekend was a sweet, precious friend of our 2nd birthday! To be honest, I cannot believe she is TWO! I remember her parents, who we love, telling us they were pregnant, and them preparing for this precious, little baby girl, and NOW she is 2!!! We love watching the love that her parents and grandparents clothe her with. What a blessing she is to their family, as they are to her! Kehnley it is a pleasure watching you grow up, Happy Birthday!!!

Sweet Friends
There are those people in your lives that are so close you consider family... in fact, those friends a lot of times are even closer than some of your family. Those friendships I truly believe are God given friendships. They are sweet, precious people that God gives you to "do" life with.
Well, the year J&I were engaged, he met Colin and Lynsey in Aberdeen, Scotland. They just by chance (totally God) got transferred to Houston, the day J&I were getting married, and from then on we seriously saw each other just about every Friday until J&I left for Australia. While in Houston, they got pregnant and had their first little one Kyle, and then while back in Aberdeen (they moved back about a month after we headed to Australia.. again, just by chance, not because we were leaving.. haha), they had their second Jonah (Kaytlin and Jonah are about 2 months apart). Both boys are such joys to be around!
C&L are a true gift from the Lord. J&I do not think that we appreciated them or their friendships enough while they were here, but the Lord has allowed our friendship to sustain even while we are thousands of miles apart. C&L (and the boys) are our friends, but more importantly they are our family. J&I truly believe that God has blessed us with this lifelong friendship so we can learn from, pray for, and love on one another. They just get us better than anyone else ever has, and we get them (or at least we think we do.. haha). We truly from the bottom of our hearts, love you guys. Thanks for coming and staying with us, we had a fabulous time and you truly were the easiest guests ever!
See you on your side of the globe in July! We cannot wait!!!!!!!!
P.S. They also went to Kristin for family pics, and she did a fabulous job with them as well. You should go to her photography website (link to it on the right hand side of our blog) and see their photos.. another AMAZING JOB! If you have not had family pictures in a bit, you should contact Kristin!!! She is SO reasonable (in fact I would say very inexpensive) and you get great photos!!!!

Firsts
We have had lots of firsts lately....
Kaytlin had her first plane trip this past weekend. We headed to Lubbock for my sister's baby shower. She was such a star!!! No crying, and in fact, both ways, sleep pretty much the ENTIRE TIME!
Kaytlin had her first sleep over (ha ha... well we had friends from the UK in and they have a 2 year old, and 4 month old... so technically they were staying with us, but we will classify it as a "sleep over" :-)
Kaytlin had her first swim. Jeremy and I were unsure how she would take to colder water (than a bath), so we bought the cheapest pool at Wal-Mart, but she LOVED it...now I will have to invest in a nicer one :-)
Kaytlin has actually started eating her solids. All of the sudden after about 2 weeks of not wanting to eat them, she now does... don't ask me how or what we did to... she just decided to open and swallow as of this past Monday. WAY TO GO KAYTLIN. She has also started practicing with a sippy cup, and does a fantastic job!!! She is becoming such a big girl! (Here is a pic of the Beaba... the latest and greatest invention for making baby food. If you are making your own baby food, this is definitely a must!!)
Here are Jeremy, Kaytlin and Auntie Libby from dinner this past weekend. Uncle Travis and Aunt Libby gave Kaytlin this ADORABLE dress that we wear ALL the time. We just think she looks too cute in it!
