Houston Birthday Party

Jeremy and I always said... "We would not call our little girl princess" FAMOUS last words of every parent, prior to having a kid... "we will not... (Fill in the blank)" Well check out our princesses 1st birthday party in H-town.

Justin, thank you SO much for taking the pictures for us, and Charlotte thank you so much for being our party planner and our reallife princess that helped with the kids crafts (crowns, tiaras, swords and wands), you two are fabulous! We love you both!!!

12th Monthiversary

On Friday, the day after Thanksgiving K turned 1!!!!! I cannot believe our baby is 1. We love and adore this little bundle of joy more than you could possibly imagine. She has brought so much adventure and true joy to our lives and we could not imagine this past year without her. Thank you Kaytlin for blessing our lives.

It's a Ranch thang...

Jeremy and I both grew up always hunting, going to the ranch and well just being out doors. We both LOVED that and have lots of wonderful memories and desire the same for Kaytin, soooo.... it has begun! While our friends were in from AU we went to Medina where J's Aunt and Uncle have a beautiful ranch. We had such a fabulous time (even though we ended up getting everyone sick, we are still so sorry about that).

Here are some of the baby goats that were born while we were born, and Aunt Judy working hard to make sure they nurse. Kaytlin really like the goats.

Cinderella...Cinderella...Cinderella

For Kaytlin's 1st Halloween she was Cinderella. Jeremy and I searched one day for costumes and after 4-5 stores we could not find one that we really liked, but we ended up finally going to Babies R Us where they had some Disney costumes that we had seen before. Little did we know that by this time (it was still around 2 weeks prior to Halloween), they would be SO picked over. We found this Cinderella costume (it was the LAST Disney costume) and it was for a 24 month old. We debated and debated, but decided we would rather have her as Cinderella than a turkey or a giraffe (our other options). We thought she looked absolutely beautiful!



Our friends, the Fourie's, were in from AU so we went out that day and got them their own costumes.. Imogen was a Texas cowgirl and Ashlinn was Tinkerbell. They were ADORABLE, but unfortunately I do not have pics. Their mommy I know got lots though, maybe she will send me some :-)

11th Monthiversary

Sorry, we have been MIA! We are so busy with life right now. Plus I usually blog at night and instead I have been spending lots more time with Jeremy just chilling than online :-) So....let me slowly try and catch up... here we go...



On Oct. 27 Kaytlin turned 11 months! I cannot remember all that was going on then, but I do remember we were preparing for her 1st Halloween, and the arrival of the Fourie's (our friends from Australia).
