Happy Birthday, Owen!

Owen celebrated his third birthday at Chuck-E-Cheese in Louisville. He loves Chuck-E-Cheese and told everyone for weeks he was having a birthday party there. He loved his Chuck-E-Cheese birthday crown although we couldn't catch him smiling with it on.

One of his favorite presents. He loves Transformers, SpiderMan, and tools right now.

Trenton and Ashleigh enjoyed celebrating Owen's birthday too!

This is the only picture I got of Owen playing at Chuck-E-Cheese. Too bad it's a pink princess carriage and not the motorcycle that he loved riding on.

Our Big Snow!!

We finally got some snow this week!! Our area ended up with about 5-6 inches, which is a ton for us. The kids had fun putting on their snow suits and boots for the second time this year and making snow forts with Dad. Dad's arsenal of snowballs.
Dad was very proud of his extra strong snow fort.

Ashleigh enjoyed the snowball fight from the sideline while eating her own snowballs.

Skating Fun

Ashleigh discovered she loves roller skating at a recent Girl Scout skating party. She did not want to leave when the night was over and begged me to bring her back the next day. She clung to the wall while skating because she tends to fall easily, but this didn't stop her. At one point during the night she made her way out to the middle of the skating rink to see her friends. It was scary to watch her cross the line of skating traffic falling every three steps right in front of oncoming skaters. She is going to take skating lessons in a few weeks so that she can truly enjoy the sport in the future without getting injured.

Trenton decided skating is not very fun after falling three times and getting hurt.
