Puppy Love

We took care of a friend's brand new puppy over the weekend for a few hours and Ashleigh was in love.  He was such a sweet puppy (when he wasn't chewing holes in our pillows).  It's nice to get a little puppy fix once in a while, but the short time with him reminded us how much we do not want any animals!

Night at the Circus

 The oldest three kiddos and I went to the circus this past weekend.  It was a lot of fun!  We had awesome seats up front, so we felt like the show was just for us.  Our favorite parts were the elephants, tigers, and a man shooting from a cannon completely on fire.

So cool!  We were so close to these guys that we could see their facial expressions and concentration.  Amazing!

 One morning while I was busy vacuuming, Owen and Dallin had some fun with our camera.  They captured all kinds of pictures in a relatively short period!  Here are just a few of my favorites.

 I LOVE this face!  Isn't he the sweetest little man ever?!  After wearing long sleeves for so long, it is so fun to see his cute little arms in short sleeves.  This new Thomas shirt is his very favorite.  He "choo-choos" all day while pointing at Thomas.  I think we have another train lover in the works.

Kite flying

 The "sleep fairy" brought Owen a mini kite this week on the most beautiful day of the year.  It was 65 F and slightly windy which is perfect kite flying weather.  Note about the sleep fairy:  Owen had really been struggling to go to bed and stay in bed each night.  Since implementing the "sleep fairy" he is 80% better which I consider a huge success.  The sleep fairy brings him a little treasure or treat each night on his pillow while he is sleeping if went to bed without any problems.  He LOVES this!

Owen had been asking for a kite for a couple of weeks after making one at school, so he was so excited to get out there and fly it.  He had a ball...until it got stuck in our soccer goal and ripped.  Owen's hoping the sleep fairy will bring another soon.

It was a perfect day for swinging too!
