8 months old!

Dallin is 8 months old today! Hooray! He got his first tooth a few days ago and has started pulling himself up on furniture. He is very curious about everything and likes to investigate things he finds on the floor. He has started liking baby food and is a really good eater. He likes to be in the middle of all the action and becomes quite upset when he is left alone.

All of the kids have loved this bouncer and Dallin is no different. He can jump pretty high in it and then laughs at himself.

Geography Bee

Trenton participated in the National Geographic Bee at the school level earlier this month. He placed in the top ten at his school on a written test, so the "Geo Bee" was the next level of competition. Many of the opening questions were about 50 US States and the later questions were about world countries. Trenton did SO well. He placed THIRD in the whole school. We are SO proud of him. Not bad for a kid who didn't want to do it at all and was forced to try by his Mom :) We Moms know what we're doing, don't we?
