Leprechaun Trap

Each year we construct Leprechaun traps in the hopes that we will finally catch a leprechaun.  This year Dallin spent hours working on multiple traps.  Owen abandoned his project after the first day of work, while Dallin continued to change his plans day after day.  St. Patrick's Day finally came and Dallin was sad to find the leprechaun got away again.  He left lots of fun green presents though.  Dallin was a little bit suspicious about how the tiny leprechaun could carry so much stuff to our house though.  Notice his fun Pokemon St. Patrick's Day shirt!

First Grade Art Show

 Despite having 24 first grade classrooms, Dallin's school held a first grade art show.  First, we found Dallin's art hanging in the hallway and then we watched him perform several Dr. Seuss themed songs.  He was thrilled to show himself off to us!

 Up on the cute stage.  I got there almost an hour early to get a seat.  There were only about half the number of seats needed for the audience.
