Memorial Day Weekend

This last weekend we headed up to Idaho for a quick trip to see the family and go to a mission homecoming of one of JD's friends from high school.

Saturday we went up to Ashton in the morning to visit Grandpa Egbert's grave and also uncle Keith's

Family Picnic- After Ryan's homecoming we went down to Pocatello to see the Redd family and spent Memorial Day having a picnic and swimming at Ross Park!

One Year Anniversary!

We made it a whole year! I can hardly believe how fast time has flown. I am so excited everyday to be married to my very best friend and sweetheart! I have had so much fun, learned so much, and can't wait for everyday! JD was so sweet and got me flowers and made a candlelight dinner. Our cruise was our trip for our Anniversary so we didn't go anywhere but had a wonderful relaxing day! Thank you Sweetheart!

Egbert Family Time

So I realize I have been a slacker about posting so here are some pictures about what we have been up to. After we came back from our cruise we worked for a week then went up to Idaho to spend a week with family.

While we were up in Idaho and Dad and Mom were at work we decided to head up to Kelly Canyon and go mountain biking. As you can see there is still snow up there and it was a tad chilly.

Although chilly, it was very beautiful.

Spring runnoff- it was so beautiful so it was totally worth it!

Cruise Vacation, Day Six

Friday, May 1st

On Friday we got into Miami around 7 AM. We got off of the ship around 8:30, got to the airport around 9 and our flight didn't leave until 2. We killed lots of time playing several rounds of Five Crown and reading some good books.

Unfortunately, Liz and I eventually crashed and burned. I think I slept on that hard floor for about and hour and a half.

So there it was, only about a month after the fact! We had lots of fun and only had one casualty...

My poor bag! That thing lasted me through my mission, just barely, and then had it's final blow on this trip. Thanks for your service buddy!

Cruise Vacation, Day Five

Thursday, May 30th



After partying all day Wednesday we were all pretty pooped out. Thursday we were in Key West and basically just enjoyed looking around and going to an aquarium. Here are a TON of pictures, we had lots of fun.

Every night of the cruise we tried to see a beautiful sunset over the ocean and today we finally got one!
