Blue Bonnets!

We love our Texas Blue Bonnets! I chose a horrible time to do it...it was really bright out, and windy... so this is what you get! We have been busy with school winding down so we squeezed it in on our Saturday. JD finished his last class yesterday! He just has finals and a week from today he will be done with those! A week from Saturday and JD will be graduating! YAY! I am super excited! It has been a good journey that I will be happy to conclude. 

Easter

I love the Easter season. It is such a special time to remember the Savior and his sacrifice and Resurrection. What an incredible gift. I am so grateful for traditions that help me remember that it isn't all about the chocolate or the bright eggs, but the Savior and his mission on earth. Here are a few pictures if us enjoying the Easter season. We enjoyed dying eggs, reading stories of Jesus all week, reading our Easter Story Eggs, and of course the chocolate! Our Easter story eggs each have an object that represents part of the easter story and the accompanying scripture from the new testament. We read them every year. 

Dallas Weekend

Last weekend we went up to Dallas to go to the temple and hit up the Fort Worth Zoo. JD took Cami to get some pj's and play at the play place in the mall while I did a session in the temple. I love going to the temple and feeling the peace there. It is difficult to go when the closest temple is 2 hours away and once you have little ones, and I can't complain since 2 hours is tiny compared to what other people have to drive. After I finished we went to the Fort Worth Zoo. The weather was perfect and I think we all enjoyed it. It is a very nice zoo.

They had these phone things all over to listen to facts about animals and Cami thought they were the coolest thing...so we had to stop...at every single one.

This doesn't really do justice to how big this crocodile is. Pretty much the biggest one I have ever seen.

March Photo-a-day Part 2

I think this month some of the fun wore off for Cami, but I had fun playing with my lenses and getting used to more of the manual settings. Cami helped me with the editing and lets just say I had to curb some of her enthusiasm for crazy lighting and coloring. Overall it is good practice and fun!

 Cami loves music and her "most favorite song ever" right now is "Let it Go"from Frozen, she is dancing to it in this picture...I couldnt get a better one and this is what she chose from what we had...

I can't really say why, but I really like this picture :)

This set up inspired lots of running around the house...

Lets just say that art is not her forte...we colored for a very short time period...

I let Cami paint my nails. Maybe not the best idea, but she loved it! She really didn't do that bad for a three year old.

Cami really is a social butterfly.
