Deathly Hallows Debut Trailer

Well, the time has finally come. With the first half of the Deathly Hallows coming out on November 19th I was beginning to wonder when the first trailer was going to come out and now its here. You can watch the HD version of the trailer here. The trailer is amazing but I thought it was interesting that the trailer covers both films. I guess its the announcement that there is going to be two films for those who didn't known. It also seemed to focus a lot on the very end of the second film which is probably the least complete at this point. Its fun watching the trailer having read the books and seeing how they are portraying certain scenes. I thought I would share some screen shots of some parts I thought were cool. If you haven't read the 7th book and don't want it ruined then don't read anything below here! If you click on any of the pictures they should expand.

The start of the trailer shows Harry walking out into the clearing where Voldemort is waiting. This is near the end of the book when Harry gets killed.

Voldemort says "The boy who lives...come to die."

Then you the curse sent at Harry that kills him

This seems to be Harry, Griphook, Ron?(left side of Harry), Hermione dressed like Bellatrix on the right and some unknown person behind griphook. Anyone know who it is?

The very beginning of the book when Harry is riding with Hagrid on Serius' motorcycle when they are trying to get Harry out of is Aunt and Uncles house.

This looks like they are on a beach so this is probably after escaping the Malfoy's when they are burying poor Dobby. That brings up my next question. Are they going to bring Dobby back after replacing him in several movies by Neville?

This is obviously the protective shield going down around hogwarts but I don't remember that happening in the book. The school is taken over by the death eaters through the whole book so I'm not sure why the protective shield would be going down. Any ideas?

This looks like Hermione setting up the defense spells as they're traveling but I'm not sure why Ron looks like he just got the crap kicked out of him.

Attack!

Since they are all dressed up I assumed this is at the beginning when the Wedding gets crashed and they take off to the city and the death eaters chase them down in the restaurant.

Nagini bursting out of the old lady and attacking Harry.

Harry is screaming, "Ron kill it!" and he has the sword so I'm assuming this is when he destroys the locket.

The fire in the room of Requirement caused by the cursed fire of Crabbe or Malfoy, I don't remember. That reminds me, the Actor who plays Crabbe got busted a while ago for growing weed so I wonder if he is going to be in the movie.

Snape's death?

The final battle. If I recall they were in the school surrounded by people...

So what did you think of the trailer? Excited? Disappointed? Any scenes from the trailer you had no idea what was going on? I'm pretty excited for the movie(s) and hope they are awesome.

Summer is finally here!

It sure took long enough, but we hope summer is here to stay. JD and I went up the canyon to Bridal Veil Falls and were able to go on a short walk and read on the grass. I am so grateful for the warmer weather! I was pretty ready for summer. For those of you noticing my large tummy, I am now 38 weeks! We are getting there!

I have wanted to do this project for a while and here is the finished product. I got a huge mirror from home depot for $30 and then did some glass etching thanks to Wendy and her cricut! JD helped me with the collage as I had originally just put a picture of us, the temple, proclamation to the family and our marriage certificate. The collage was fun to do and softened the edges. Really it pulls in the important things like the Savior, the Atonement, temples and eternal marriage. I am so grateful for eternal marriages and even though it has just been two years I couldn't imagine life without my sweetheart. JD is such a supportive and sweet husband and I am so lucky!

Another project for the little one.... I got a whole bunch of these burp cloths so I just dressed them up a little!

JD and I got to go to Idaho again this past weekend for a baby shower in Idaho Falls! Thank you so much everybody who came! Scott and Wendy came with us too so that JD would have another golfing buddy and Wendy could look for a job up here. It was great to be with family and friends! JD and I sure are blessed to have such supportive families and friends! So here are some shower pictures for your enjoyment!

We saw a sweet rainstorm on the way home, this is at the point of the mountain! Awesome huh!

Just another picture that proves JD is excited for our little one! He has been so helpful in getting ready! I am so lucky to have such a sweet supportive husband!

Just because I know you are all curious about how big I am getting here is me at 36 weeks! Yes I am poking out there and I have a big basketball! And for all you who didn't see me this past week, yes I did cut my hair! A whole bunch of hairs! It is really short, but I love it and it is super easy to do! I am glad I did it so that I actually do my hair!

Randomness!

Dangerous looking I know... JD found the perfect place in our little home where he can practice swinging his new (new to him anyway) clubs. JD is enjoying some summer golfing and needs to practice... mostly I am afraid for the carpet ;)

Life gets crazy busy... I thought that the last trimester was supposed to drag... well that has not really seemed like the case of late. JD has been so supportive of me and so sweet to put up with me and my mood swings of late. He has been so helpful too! Here we are setting up a pack-n-play with a bassinet to try it out. Thanks Mom and Dad Redd for the pack-n-play! We also recently completed a prenatal class that was really a good idea. I work with babies on a daily basis but it really was very good for both of us to take the class. I think I will be able to be a little more confident that JD won't pass out in the delivery room :)
As a note JD and I were lucky to have his parents come spend memorial day with us in which we relaxed, played games at a park and grilled some burgers at home on our little grill. Incidentally I had JD carry the camera all day and forgot to take a single picture... hopefully I will get better at taking pictures before the baby comes!

May Flowers bring Showers?

Emma graduated from high school! How crazy is that! I can't believe my younger siblings are growing up so quickly! She is going to head to BYU-I this fall to major in Chemistry! Congrats you smartie pants!

So May has been a month full of showers and flowers for me :) I won't complain! Here is me with treasures from my baby's shower. I should interject that that is JD in the background, he was very sick the night before, poor guy, so he was resting while I displayed our gifts :)

Anniversary!!

JD and I celebrated out 2 year anniversary last month! It has been a crazy but wonderful two years! We were able to head to Salt Lake City for the day and go to the Hogle Zoo then visit This is the Place monument. We did a little shopping, went to the Mayan for dinner and spent the night at the Anniversary Inn, which was super fun and neat :) all in all a very relaxing wonderful day! Above are the pretty flowers JD got for me! I definitely love the month of May... I get spoiled!
