Girls Trip 2011

We had our annual girls trip this year and everyone was able to make it!  Top ten highlights were. . .

1. Being together with my best friends since High School in a suite down in San Diego. Thanks Carrie!
2.  Lots of shopping.
3.  Celebrating a long awaited baby for Debbie!
4.  Talking!
5.  Lots and lots of sweets!
6.  Dinner at a great Sushi restaurant.
7.  Treated to a massage by Debbie.
8.  Laughing!
9.  Going to church to a random ward.
10.  Having Sunday brunch at a seaside restuarant.

Can't wait till next year!

Move In Day

We moved into the house this weekend and we are totally thrilled.  Here are some pictures of the home as we viewed it.  Really gross and dirty but a ton of potential!  We just fell in love with it!  It was smaller than we anticipated but it was a sinlge family home and we were thrilled!  

We were helped by the faithful members of the Elders quorum and family.  We are so blessed, thank you to all that helped!

We Closed!

A little update but really overdue, we closed on our house Friday, May 13,  2011.  It is a 1/2 a mile from my parents.  We are really excited and can't wait to move in.  Our cute little home needs a lot of TLC.  We have been extremely busy!

It has been so fun picking paint, tile, baseboards, kitchen hardware for the doors, bathroom mirrors, closet organizers, carpet, fireplace mantels and stone.  The list goes on forever!  But I can't wait to show you before and after pics those are to come soon!  (I just finished tiling the entry today!)
