Go Grasshoppers!

Luke this year is playing soccer with Dave as the coach!  

The name of their team is the Grasshoppers.  

It is really fun to watch, they have a 30min practice and then a 30min game we are all done with an hour.  Its perfect!  

I think this probably will be the last time Dave coaches Luke for a while though.  Luke as you know is not the greatest listener, especially to his parents.  Lets just say separation is good for all of us.  

Maybe later down the road it will be better.  

But for now it is just fun to see him run and be just completely lost!

Valerie's Time

My best friend Val last night went through the Temple and took out her endowment.  I am so proud of her and am so greatful she is my friend!  For us that live locally to the Newport Beach Temple were all there to support her.  It was a great night!

First Day of School

Luke had his first day of school on Wednesday. He was so excited to use his Batman backpack Nana got him and his Scooby-Doo lunch box.

Luke this year is going to a charter school called Community Roots Academy this year in Aliso Viejo.

The first day he said was awesome! The second day he didn't realize he had to go everyday.

Luke doesn't like his teacher give him a few weeks and I know he will love his teacher Mrs Morton.

Labor Day

On Labor Day Dave had promised the boys to go fishing.  It really is such a funny outing because the boys have to practice patience and soft voices.  It really is so impossible for a 5 and 2 year old but at least they try.  Here they all are "fishing" with all our patience and soft voices we still were not able to catch any fish and we were rained out but the boys still thought it was the best!  I guess that is all that matters!
