I had 2 weddings this weekend. (pictures to come soon!) To top it all off my dear sweet 5 year Luke decided to see what would happen if you took 5 pounder rocks and toss them on a PVC pipe.
This pipe may I tell you is the the main waterline! Yep that sweet boy broke our main water line! Did I mention I had 2 weddings I had to work on? Flowers do require water! Anyway I grabbed the shut off switch, Dave talked sternly with Luke and then quickly wisked away to Lowes to try and fix the pipe. By the way can a just throw out there who thought it was a good idea to make a main water line out of PVC pipe? Really!?!
I finished up what I could, loaded the flowers in the car and headed to the event. I returned later that afternoon at 5ish and it still was not fixed. After another trip to Lowes to get more PVC pipe we finally fixed it. Once we were sure it wasn't going to leak we closed the hole and very sternly told Luke he was not to touch any pipes with rocks again.
I will just add that I found him the next day picking up the same 5 pounder and slamming it into something else.
That boy I tell ya!
