Stella

Ahhhh Stella Grace. She is the reason I am writing this post at 1:02 a.m. She is our "high maintenance woman" as Wes calls her. In her defense she has acid reflux and she is uncomfortable often. She takes medicine twice a day which does help her but it doesn't take away her symptoms all the time. She is also very much a Mommy's girl. I do love that she loves me and wants to be with me, but I sometimes feel that I can't be with Mya as often because of this. Stella also goes from one extreme to the next. When she is happy, she is VERY happy. She loves to laugh and smile and it completely melts my heart. She rolled over from her belly to her back at 3 weeks old and has done it many times since then. She also sleeps through the night and if she wakes up it is only once. Tonight is a different story. She is currently in a sling and I'm swaying while I type. LOL.

At our last appointment she weighed 8 pounds 8 ounces and I'm looking forward to finding out how big she is on the 3rd. Just like her sister, she likes the swing and bouncy seat. She also likes her pacifier a little more than Mya. It really soothes her when her belly hurts. I think the sucking distracts her for a minute. She also likes to look right at your face and make facial expressions. While she is a little more work currently, she is a very sweet baby and we are also madly in love with her!

Mya

I realized that I have only posted once on here and I didn't have time to include pictures so it was time. My girls are twins but they are completely different and unique little people so I am going to post separately about them sometimes.

Mya Alyse is our very laid back and easy going baby. She is so mellow. She is a wonderful sleeper and sleeps through the night on a regular basis now. She also likes to eat and has definitely filled out! The girls are 8 weeks old now and we go back for our 2 month check up on August 3rd. About 3 weeks ago Mya weighed 10 pounds and I'm guessing she's gained at least another pound and a half. She rolled over from her belly to her back at 3 1/2 weeks but hasn't done it since. She likes to listen to herself and coos often. She also likes to play with some toys that Nana has at her house. She enjoys being in the swing and bouncy seat sometimes but does not depend on them. Thankfully, she doesn't depend on her pacifier. She will take it and likes it in the car but doesn't have to have it, which will make weening her from it much easier. All in all, she is a wonderful baby and we are totally in love with her.
