Happy Birthday, YaYa!
Today we went down to Celina to celebrate YaYa's birthday that was on Friday. They made a yummy lunch of stew and crescent rolls. We spent the afternoon talking and playing. We got the most delicious pumpkin pie blizzards from Dairy Queen for dessert. Trick or treating was today and we stayed for the first half hour of it. The girls really loved passing out the candy to the kiddos. It was a great afternoon! The girls skipped their naps and were asleep after 2 minutes in the car! 
Carving our Pumpkins!
It took us about a week of talking about it before we actually got down to business! We finally got around to it last week. We striped the girls down to their diapers and put them in their high chairs. They were a little creeped out at first to touch the "punkin goo" but eventually they dug right in. We carved the 4 little ones with the letters W, C, M and S. The 2 big pumpkins were going to be elaborate Cincinnati Reds and Dora designs but a certain male member of our family gets easily frustrated when carving pumpkins! LOL We ended up with a super basic jack-o-lantern face and just the Reds C. We don't have any candles so the pumpkins haven't been lit up yet and I don't have any pictures of them but they turned out pretty good, if I do say so myself. I was feeling especially Betty Crockerish so I looked up a recipe for pumpkin seeds. The sugar, salt and pumpkin pie spice coated seeds are amazing! The best part, Wes won't even try them so they are all mine! :)
The Bilancini Wedding
My cousin, Abbey, and her new husband, Tony, got married yesterday in one of the most amazing weddings I have ever been to. Tony and Abbey's dad, Jim, both own successful restaurants and so the food was out-of-this-world. Abbey looked stunning and the night was so much fun with my whole family. Their reception was at the same venue that Wes and I had our reception and it was the first time we've been back since. It was so much fun! The first picture is my dad with his siblings - Dan, Susan, and Sharon. Sharon is the mother of the bride. The next three pictures are my favorite of the night. Cora was the flower girl and the niece of the bride. My girls absolutely LOVE Cora and they had so much fun dancing all night with her!
Reading the Bible with Daddy
We've been having really busy out-of-town weekends so sadly we've missed church for a few weeks. I realize this doesn't make up for it but Daddy sat down to read the Bible with the girlies last week. They have a children's bible and they love it!

Our Trip to the "Cuhlumus House"
Last weekend we headed to Columbus for our long anticipated trip to visit Aunt Brittany and Uncle Troy. I had purchased a family fun pack at a Cystic Fibrosis Foundation event in July. Brittany is an event planner for the CF Foundation. The pack included a one night stay at the Hilton Garden Inn for a family of four, one free movie rental, popcorn, pop, a coloring book, crayons, a sit-down served breakfast and four passes to the Columbus Zoo! It was a $240 value that I got for $80! Amazing!!!!
We decided to go down on Friday night so we could enjoy some more time with Britt and Troy and so we didn't have to get up so early Saturday morning since we were planning to be at the zoo at 10:00. We got there around 8:00. The girls were so excited. We have been talking about this trip for at least a month and they could hardly stand the wait! They danced and played for a bit then we put them to bed. Britt, Troy, Wes and I just sat around catching up before heading to bed ourselves.
Saturday morning we got up and ate breakfast and got ready for our day. The girls helped Uncle Troy empty the dishwasher before we left. :)
We got to the zoo around 10:30. It was decorated for Halloween and they had the Boo at the Zoo. Area businesses were passing out candy at different stations around the zoo and the visitors were encouraged to dress up in their costumes. The girls wore their doctor costumes. This zoo is amazing! It is huge and we really enjoyed ourselves! It was pretty crowded and so we definitely plan on going back at some point to check out the parts we didn't get to. We had a yummy lunch at one of the grilles. Who knew they served strawberry walnut salad at a zoo? It was fabulous! The girls had mac 'n cheese, apple chips, jello and milk. Delicious and pretty cheap too!

Our original plan was to go to Cosi where they were having a Dora and Diego exhibit but since we were leaving the zoo at 3:00 we thought the $15/person charge for Cosi wasn't worth it since they close at 5:00. Instead, Britt and Troy took us to a nearby park for some more fun! We played for a little while and then went to check into our hotel. Mya fell asleep in the car because we just decided to skip naps for the day. She was zonked!
When we got to hotel Uncle Troy carried her in and she fell right back to sleep on his shoulder and he just laid her on the bed and she slept for another hour and a half! Stella kept herself busy by coloring in the Halloween coloring book that came with our package. We eventually woke her up and went to dinner at Tommy's Pizza across the street from the Shoe. It was fabulous! Britt and Troy left us after dinner. They had to go celebrate his grandma's birthday. We got the girls ready for bed and tucked them in. It took a little bit for them to fall asleep, but once they went to sleep Wes and I watched Bridesmaids and then went to bed.
Sunday morning we had breakfast down at the hotel restaurant. The girls had pancakes, eggs, sausage links, fruit and yogurt! Wes and I also ate a huge, yummy breakfast. We complimented the hotel staff for such a wonderful experience and then loaded up the car for the drive home. It was definitely a "family fun" trip!
