Halloween 2012

We carved our pumpkins on the 30th.  Nothing like waiting until the last minute!  And when I say carved we scooped the guts out of our pumpkins and carved some pathetic faces into the girls little pie pumpkins and that's it.  Our big pumpkins got cleaned out but no face put on it.  I'm not the biggest fan of doing this and I just didn't feel like it. Bad Mama, I know! We stripped them down so we didn't get pumpkin guts on our clothes and so I only picked pictures where they were covered.  Mya was in a giggly mood and when her Daddy would make funny noises and faces and drop the guts in the bowl she just couldn't control herself, which made for some super cute pictures! :)

 We had some music on and were doing lots of dancing! :)

 This Halloween we were the Crayola kids with our cousins, Will and Sophie, and their cousins on the other side, Cecilia and Veronica.  It turned so stinkin' cute when they were all together tonight!  Trick-or-treat got moved to Saturday night due to the weather so we decided to still get together to take pictures and eat pizza because the new date wasn't going to work for all of us.  We met over at Ashley and Craig's and put our costumes on.  We took a few pictures and then went upstairs to have a pizza picnic on their living room floor.  It was a fun evening!

Mommy's First Helper Day!

Today was my first special helper day at the girls' preschool.  I picked today because it was their Halloween party and I wanted to be able to attend.  Last night we prepared our snack - monster pudding cups ~ vanilla pudding with green food coloring and crushed Oreos on top.

 The kids came to school in their costumes and they were so excited to have a special moment in the center of the carpet where their friends tried to guess who each person was!  I didn't get a good picture of the Mya, Stella and Sophie who were green, blue and yellow crayons.

 They hold the flags for the pledge and are line leaders to the bathroom.

 They also got to lead the troops through trick-or-treating to some of parents who were behind different doors.

 The snack cups were a hit!

 We finished up the day doing the 5 Little Pumpkins skit and ghost bowling!
