I already shared these on Facebook but for my non-FB followers here are my recent current favs of my little loves!

Twin Talk Vol. 11

1. They call the garbage/trash can the "cash can". I wish it was a cash can! :)

2. We talk about having a baby someday a lot and we ask the girls what they would like to have. Stella tells us she wants "a pretty girl baby and a boy baby" and Mya says "I want 2 brudders". They must think babies always come in twos! LOL

3. I was tucking Mya in for bed one night when we were staying at my parents house for a game night. Mya was sleeping in my brother, Taylor's old bedroom and she was just trying to talk and talk and talk to me to avoid sleeping. Our conversation went like this.....Me: Mya you need to stop talking or Mommy is going to go out. Mya: Oh, you are going to leave if I keep talking? Me: Yes, that's what I just said. Silence for 30 seconds. Mya: Mommy those aren't our curtains. No, we have green curtains and they are at home. We can't get new curtains at the grocery store because they just have food. I couldn't help but laugh. Where does she get this stuff?

4. I gave the girls an empty paper towel roll cut in half to play with. Mya came running up to me saying "Tella taked my potting cope (spotting scope - learned that from Diego) and runned away!" They were pretending they were pirates and saying "Arrrrrrr".

5. Stella riding her tricycle in laps around the couches discovers that Milo pooped behind one of the couches and she tells me “Mommy gross! Milo pooped in my road. Grody to the max! Bluck!”

6. Mya pooped and I went to change her diaper and I said Ewwwwww that's stinky. She says “I poop like daddy. That's gross! He needs to take a shower and wash his butt!”

7. Mya looking out the door right after she wakes up from nap and sees our neighbor mowing his lawn and even though Wes was sitting right there she asks if it is her Daddy. I told her no, daddy is right here. She asks, “Oh, is it my other daddy?”

8. They say taco: Cocko. We were eating tacos one night and this was the convo we heard. LOLOLOL “Daddy, I want a bite of your cocko!” “Daddy likes to eat cockos!”

9. Mya reading the Reds board book that we have and she asks what the ball park is. Wes tells her that this is where the Reds play their home games and it is called Great American Ball Park. He asks her if she can say that and she says “No, Daddy, I am too little to say that!”

10. Mya was all cleaned up and wanted mommy to color with her. We were leaving the kitchen where Stella was in her high chair and Stella announces “This child is done! You can't go color until you get her down!”

11. Mya was pretending to tuck Stella in bed and she told her “Goodnight fweetie. You can have a party in your dreams.”

12. My best friend, Kelly, just had her fourth sweet little baby yesterday. A few weeks ago I took Stella shopping with me to Kohls. I told her we were going to look for a gift for Kelly's baby. She didn't know what she was having so I figured I'd get a girl gift and a boy gift since Kohls has such a good return policy. Stella kept saying while we were shopping "We are going to buy Kelly's baby at Kohls". I told her we weren't going to buy the baby just a gift for the baby. She kept picking things up and telling me "Oh Mommy this is cute! Is this Kelly's baby?" LOL. Well, yesterday when I picked them up I told them that Kelly had her baby and it is a boy named Jayce Ryan. Stella was so excited and kept begging to go to Kelly's house to see the baby. I told her that Kelly was not a home but we would go next weekend when we bring her dinner. She said "Oh Kelly's at the hobsital with she's baby, Jayce Ryan?" She has been talking about them non-stop. Come on, Saturday! You need to get here so Stella can get her fix! I showed her the picture I took at the hospital today and that just made her even more excited! :)

Our Home

We have lived in our new house just a few weeks short of a year and I never posted pictures of what it looks like since we have owned it. So I thought it might be fun to do a before and after post. You may remember that our house was completely white and a blank slate for us to start with. It has been so much fun making it just what we wanted.

Our master bedroom ~

I love, love, LOVE our bedroom. It is huge, so I don't feel like we are crowded at all. Green is my favorite color and is such a soothing color so I just love being in our room. I love the few simple pictures I have on the walls and our bedding set. Well, I do love the bedding set but it is a duvet from Pottery Barn and I don't know if it is oversized or something but it looks slouchy. The comforter and the Euro shams both. Maybe I just need a new comforter in it or new pillows....Wes won't want to hear that. I also love the sliding doors and personal patio that we have. It is so nice to have that much light in the room and we look out to our big backyard and

that ends next to a field so it is pure privacy! I can't wait to get rid of the treadmill in the corner of our room and get some sort of chair. In this room, we just painted and hung curtains

and a new ceiling fan.

Master bathroom~

We still have the ugly counter tops and blue tub so there won't be many pictures here. I do have an idea in the works for a whole renovation but that will be a ways down the road. Until then I made the blue tub work by getting the matching shower curtain to our bedding set and it ties the green and blue together. I LOVE that we have 2 sinks and a fairly large bathroom compared to what we did have. I also LOVE our walk-in closet and 2nd pants closet. Until the renovations, we just painted, got new light fixtures, and a new toilet.

The girls' bedroom~

I know you've seen this before but I wanted to include it anyways. I am so happy with how it turned out and the girls love it! Paint and curtains in this room too, along with a new ceiling fan/light.

The girls bathroom~

Did I mention I love green? LOL I wanted this bathroom to look like it could be for adults and kids. It is their bathroom but also the one that most guests use. I also can't stand kiddie cartoon bathrooms so that was never going to happen. We also plan to renovate this whole bathroom at some point too so we can get rid of the horrible counters and floors and get a new tub but again that is down the road. For now, we just painted, got a new toilet and shower head.

The girls' playroom~

I think I deleted the pictures I took when we redid this room and I don't feel like cleaning it up enough to take a picture tonight. LOL So just click here. It was originally our office and I painted it as if it was that. I would have picked another color if I knew it was going to just be their playroom. It is a cute little room that is usually a mess throughout the day, but that is why we wanted it - so they could contain their mess to one spot! It is picked up every night because I can't stand to walk past it when it is a mess. :) Again, paint and a ceiling fan was all we did in here.

The extra bedroom~

We had a bedroom set with awesome Crate and Barrel bedding but we decided to get rid of the furniture at my mom's garage sale in hopes that we will be turning it into a nursery soon. So until that time it is the "cuh-luh-ling (coloring) room" for the girls. LOL They love to sit at their little table in there. We haven't done anything in this room yet.

The family room~

My other favorite room! I just LOVE it! We put down a new floor, painted, hung curtains and 2 new ceiling fans. I love all of the colors on the Crate and Barrel pillows. I think it really stands out. My very favorite part of the room is the photo wall. The pictures surround the words "Life is Beautiful"!

The kitchen~

In this room we just painted, put up new lights and bought a fridge and stove. I really thought I wanted yellow because it is happy. Wes doesn't even know this yet, but I'm planning to paint it again soon. I want a light green - shocking, I know! I also want to have a cushion made for our window seat. And if we win the lottery I want new cupboards. LOL

The laundry room~

Another room where we did nothing. Well, except hang a decal on the wall. LOL I will paint this room at some point too and we are going to get a front loading washer and dryer at some point but until then it is just white.

3rd bathroom~

It's cute! We painted it purple, hung a decal, and got new hardware. We are still planning to replace the sink/counter but other than that is done.

Dining room~

We don't eat in here yet. We will when the girls are not in high chairs. I love the furniture but I am still looking for something to go on the walls that isn't a picture of people or words since I kind of have an over load of that throughout the house. We painted and got a new chandelier, so far.

Living room~

This room houses all of our old furniture. We use this room a lot more than I thought we would and it's just okay to me. I would love to replace that furniture someday.

Foyer~

We busted up the horrible blue floral ceramic tile that was in there, laid a new floor, painted, hung a new light and a wall decal. I really like this entrance now. I want to get a small table for under the decal at some point down the road.

Back Patio~

I really enjoy sitting out here. It is really peaceful. We have thrown around some ideas of either screening it in or adding a large deck to connect the two patios. We shall see.
