Casey's Secret

For some odd reason my crazy little ladies love to play in my underwear drawer. They pull all of them out and put like 5 pairs of them on at once. However, they don't put them on correctly. They pull them up around their waste and wear them like a belt. It is hilarious and I can't help but laugh. That's probably why they keep doing it. They like to wear Mommy's "unnerwears".

One morning a long time ago the girls came in to talk to me while I was getting ready and I was putting on body spray. I asked them if they wanted to smell pretty and then I sprayed them. They LOVED this. Now I can't keep them out of my cupboard. They are always pulling out the bottle (Victoria's Secret Tease, no less.....I know, I know! Totally appropriate for toddlers!) and telling me "I want to mell pretty". They can say smell on other occasions, but for some reason this is how they say this sentence. They take the cap off but they don't know how to spray it. They just walk around and pretend to spray it on themselves or others. The bottle is plastic so I don't worry about it.......until they learn how to actually spray. LOL

My Daddy

I LOVE my dad! He is such an important part of who I am. I feel like I sing my mom's praises all the time on my blog and my dad doesn't get as much love. That is simply because she is able to spend more time with the girls and so I end up talking about her more. She is absolutely FABULOUS, don't get me wrong. I don't know what I would do without her. But I just wanted to take a minute to tell my daddy how important he is to me!

Dad,

I want to thank you for always being there for me. I always know that I can count on you to help me out with whatever I need. You fixed a lot of things in my house, you've taught me how to do countless things, you were there to help us financially so that we could make our newest house our home, you have "interesting" discussions with me about politics (although I don't know

much!) and you have babysat our girls when needed. I have to say watching you be their Papa makes me so happy. Your grandkids are obviously extremely important to you. They LOVE you and I love to watch you interact. They talk about you when we aren't with you and you make them smile. It is everything I hoped for, for my children.

I am also so proud of you for making the decision you made about your career change. I can tell that you are so much happier now that you are doing something you are passionate about again. I also love that it allows you much more free time. We see you more often and it has given us another option when we're in a pinch with the girls! Just the other day when I called you in the morning because Stella had a fever and I couldn't be home with her until after lunch and you said "No problem. Bring her over!" I am so at ease knowing they are with you and she had a great time with her Papa. Thank you!

I just want you to know that I love you so much and I think you are an amazing person! I am so grateful to have you and be able to call you my dad!

P.S. This last picture is my dad modeling a traffic directing jacket that he got for some event that his company had. It cracks me up and he has worn it around the house on several occasions to be silly. It's a great picture of him!

Wardrobe Change

Every Tuesday my mom picks my girls up from the sitters around 1:00. It saves us a little bit of money and my parents like spending time with our littlest ladies. A few weeks ago my mom knew that I had a program at my school and saw that Mya had gotten some sauce on her shirt at lunch time so she decided to wash it for me so she would be ready for that night. This is what Mya looked like when I got to Nana's house. Mom didn't have a shirt to put on her so she just put one of my brother, Taylor's old sweat shirts on her. She looked stinkin' adorable!!!! It is a size 10/12 so it is large on her but I think it adds to the cuteness. I just loved it! Also, is it just me or are kids even more fun to snuggle when they are wearing cozy sweatshirts????? I sure loved up on my little piggy-tailed girl!

Easters #4 and 5

Easter morning we woke up at our own house! The girls had a LATE night and we were really hoping they would sleep in a little. No such luck so we brought them into our bed to watch the Easter Dora episode and hope they would snooze a little with us. Again no such luck! So we got up and came up out into the family room where we saw that the Easter bunny had visited us here, as well! He brought these lucky ladies a new pair of jammies, a cute shirt, Dora and Minnie undies (hope to be using those this summer), Dora activity book, sidewalk chalk, a kite, Dora plate, bowl, cup and silverware and a Dora microphone and Dora bath toys. A few weeks ago the Easter bunny made an early drop off of some Dora books and a movie that were all about Easter and he wanted them to have time to enjoy leading up to the holiday. Thoughtful bunny!

Have you had enough pictures of my girls hunting for Easter eggs? Well, there's a few more. They had 50 eggs to hunt for at our house and they did it in about 5 minutes!

*Sidenote: This is the first of many art projects that I will hang on my fridge that my super sweet daughters made! It's an egg made of marshmallows and a painted bunny! They made these at our babysitter's house. Lisa you rock! I love them!

We ate breakfast and then into the tub we went so we smelled sweet and so we could play with our new Dora and Super Babies bath tub toys! They loved playing with them. They kissed them several times throughout the bath.

After we got out of the tub we put our jammies back on for nap and Mya wanted to rock the Super Babies before they went to bed.

When they woke up we put on their dresses and headed over to my grandparents' house for our final celebration. No egg hunt thank goodness! My grandma just handed them their egg that had some money in it. When Mya opened it she said "No, I want candy." LOL Silly girl, she'll learn! Anyways, we had a delicious dinner and a great time chatting with family members.

We went outside to take some pictures and the girls loved marching around in the grass. Mya really got her arms going and everything. So cute!

This sequence of pictures cracks me up. I was trying to get a picture of my sister's fam and these turned out fabulous!
