Christmas Day

Christmas morning the girls slept in until almost 8:00, which was wonderful.  Stella had an accident so she woke up upset and ended up waking Mya up.  They had went to bed really late and from all of our Christmas activities the last few days hadn't taken a nap in four days.  That was catching up to us and they were a little whiny, which kind of bummed me out because it wasn't the morning I had dreamed of. LOL  It was still a great memory!  We opened gifts and then had breakfast of green waffles in the shape of a Christmas tree with raspberry and blueberry ornaments, a star marshmallow topper and a graham cracker trunk.

After brunch we headed over to my parents house for Christmas with them.  We stayed all day until about 7:00 playing games and hanging out.   We had such a blessed holiday season!

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve our little family went to mass at Our Lady of Lourdes at 4:30.  It was insanely crowded and we ended up in the cry room, thank goodness.  We had plenty of room in there and it was okay if the girls weren't silent.  Following church we met up with most of my dad's side of the family at Bar Louie for dinner.

 After dinner we went back to my parents' house to play games.  Aunt Susan, Sam and Greg got the girls the most ridiculously cute gift....a cheetah print wrap, a glittery purse and a black headband.  They also each got a new game, giant coloring book and Pez.  So generous!

 At 10:00 we went home to get ready for bed and get Santa's snacks and other items set out.  We left him a glass of milk, a cookie, a clementine, and carrots for the reindeer.  Mya also insisted we set their lists out so Santa would know what they wanted.  The bag on the floor is full of items that we left for Santa to take to other children because we don't play with them anymore.
