Silent Bible!
This weekend has taken its toll on me. I guess it just shows how fragile I am when the workload builds up. So anyway, had EP3 trials on Wednesday and Friday. I was seriously disappointed with the turn up of the Secondary 1 students. Whenever we call them, they would always claim that they would be going, yet they don't turn up. Please do not make empty promises and stick to your word. When the time comes, I hope you can get a taste of your own bitter medicine. Aside from that, the week's work just came tumbling down upon poor little me. So anyway, I guessed I managed to complete everything in time. The motivation stems from how I want to keep a clean record among all the teaching staff. Anyway, Lucky Star is kind of comical. :) Oh and Kurohime came out! Been such a long time since it was released, hopefully Aflame Inferno or Black God would be released. Anyway, found a nicer upload of Silent Bible PV :)) Woo. I hope the live version would be out soon. I always liked her live performances anyway. Sunday, January 24, 2010

Silent Bible PV + Nana's Birthday
Silent Bible gives the melodic anime-ish tune in my opinion.
Well, that's fine. The quality of the PV is not that good though but I think the idea was rather simple but seriously invoked a lot of memories :) Anyway, there was a scene which reminded me of Within Temptation, especially when she was dressed in gothic black. Anyway, the Radio Rip is below. Enjoy. Huhuh, Nana's Birthday is today, totally forgot about it because mental preparations for the vile combination of subjects take a taxing toll both physically and mentally. Or at least to a person like me. Thursday, January 21, 2010

Nana's top on Oricon! Woo Hoo!
Being, the virgin fan(not the literal meaning), I believe that this was a first single to top Oricon. The album equivalent being her latest album. I started on Nana last year I guess, because I became a slight otaku and started spamming manga, so naturally, Rosario+Vampire soon became one of my reads. Then I went on to the anime, won't want to elaborate, but I heard the character songs. So Moka's character song was somewhat unique, it was different I guess. The voice was more of a singer's voice if you would ask me, not a seiyuu. So anyway, I went to youtube and landed on my first video: Trickster, which so happens to be my favourite song. Heh. Hmm, but youtube removed all the live videos uploaded by Mahoushoujo... So sad. Thursday, January 14, 2010

Lift me up
People are wired differently, our minds tick uniquely, following it's own rhythm and pace, ticking, ticking. The frequencies between people might not coincide initially, but time conjures magic which synchronises such differences. What happens after synchronisation then?
Today has been a rather hectic day for me I guess. With special reference to the Microbiology test I had today, I believe that what has been done is done, and that nothing can be done except to continue the path forward. Let's just say that school started of with a bang for me, and I intend to maintain at a high note throughout my school life. Problems might bombard me like free electrons, but positivity balances the equation. I would do my best to be a friend and a senior. Below is one of my favourite songs in the latest album. It's not perfect smile... Oh and to Solomon, it is a song about love I think. Oh but it's Enka, woo NANA~ Wednesday, January 13, 2010

The Front Pedestal
Okay, Orientation went quite well, though the first try was dreadful...
What's over is over anyway, so let's move on. Starting on Disc 2 of Live Diamond. So anyway, I'm still quite melancholic about certain stuff. Sorry to Maung Thet if I ruined your surprise yesterday... I suck at pretending and hiding I guess. Well so I would like to thank the following people: In no order of merit, Wong Qin Jiang, for helping me be the emcee of Orientation Qu Zhewei, for helping with the training of both Drill Contingent and Precision Drill Squad Gwee Yong Xiang, Ten Ting Kai, Perng Jia Jun, for helping to train the Precision Drill Squad Maung Thet, Solomon Poon, Know Guan Koi and Zachary Lim for helping with the training of the Drill Contingent Chia Zhong Hao and Bryan Lee, for helping with the distribution and passing of the MkIV rifles, the Sec1s definitely were irritating (to me anyway) Ang Tan Yang, for helping with ushering and for the effectual and convincing introduction of HCINCC Tan Yang, Ying Da, Jian Sheng, Zhi Wei, Ivan Mak, Betrick Chow, Tan Xin Ren, Shaun Lee with the camouflage netting and the putting up of banners Those in BSC, for their concern of Orientation. The PartD10, for their support and constant pestering(I think of it as rejuvenation) The PDS team, for their excellent performance The Drill Contingent, for their endurance and effort to live up to expectations The PT Booth, for entertaining and I guess effectively allowing the Secondary 1 students know that HCINCC is indeed a place where we train you both physically and mentally The Plaques and M16/MkIV booth for helping with the introduction to NCC and the opportunities they are presented with. The Camou Guards, who endured through a couple of ridiculously childing Secondary 1 students The PDS and Drill Contingent reserves, for going through training after training of intensive drills The CLTs, for giving their opinions on things which definitely helped improve Orientation as a whole. Mr Lau, for helping us with administrative matters and the LCD television. The entire company, for being a part of HCINCC To the company, my job was drastically insignificant, without their help, I couldn't have pulled of Orientation. Orientation 2010. Officially over. Orientation 2010
It's been a while since I last posted.
7 January, Orientation 2010 for NCC. Orientation was technically my first performance, if you could call a bunch of Sec 1 students rotating around in shifts to be an audience. I have always been in the drill contingent, facing the cadets head on, never looking at them in the eye, head up high, proud. I was proud to be in the drill contingent, it made me feel a part of a superior organisation. You could see the coordinated swinging of arms through the shadow from the sun. The sun always stood there, never moved, but neither did we. I remember we always stood our ground, solid bangs, the smacking of the rifles. In PartA07, I was given the opportunity to be a part of the drill contingent. Jun Kai was the drill commander, and if I remember correctly, Darren was the timer. To be honest, I was very nervous, and because of the scouts nearby, the commands were very easily overpowered. However, we still managed to work things out. I remember Jun Kai and Yi Sheng always told me to look up and not to slouch. Come PartB08, the epitome of our part. However, to me, it was when things went downhill, my discipline dropped I guess, my physical standards were mediocre, I was pretty much disappointed with myself. However I realised that halfway through cadet life and tried to change. I started lifting weights, I still remember, starting with 2.5 kg , doing 15 counts of 8 for each exercise executed during rifle PT. Soon I managed to build confidence in myself again. But with every PDS performance that I was not selected to perform for, I would feel demoralised, but I always managed to climb back up. Then it struck. Selection for Orientation 09 drill contingent. I remembered the few of us were with the current partbs. If I am not wrong, we played the "level game", whereby if you made a mistake, you would go down a level. At the end of it all, there was only Zhong Hao, Jeffrey(not sure if I spelled your name correctly) and me. When hey asked who were confident that they would get inside drill contingent, I raised my hand. However 1 week later, when the selected people were revealed, I realised I wasn't one of them. I just broke down and cried for perhaps 2 hours. I guess that was one of the worst points of my career. Eventually I was selected to join the drill contingent. They asked me what was my reaction when I saw the results, and I answered truthfully. They later told me that I wasn't selected because I did not look up, though I now believe that there was another reason. With that, Orientation 09 was done. Today, I would be standing in front of the potential cadets, as their future Part A PS. Wish me luck. Wednesday, January 6, 2010

Imagination
I think its funny how I'm a science student, and yet I try to find ways to defy what I learn.
Supernatural, the impossible, I really do wish that an iota of it is true. I first started with Rosario+Vampire I guess, where I started learning about the denizens of the dark, then I went on to wikipedia about the Roman Gods and stuff, then I ended up in a lot more weird manga, and finally Haruhi and Rozen Maiden. The supernatural, it is the water that gives the seeds of imagination life. I wish that someday, we would really find something that is literally, out of this world. Friday, January 1, 2010

Quick Update
Okay, new year 2010.
Orientation coming up soon. Secondary 4 life activities barging into private space. So I haven't been posting very long due to the recent barrage of activities that are just popping out everywhere. Little vermin, seriously, I'm sick of you, go away! No, I'm joking, without them life would be rather dull. So I welcome the buzz of life that would be following me around. For starters, I would need to complete my Microbiology studying. Following that would be examinations and the normal routine. Looking forward to boarding school and all the people I meet again. Hopefully I end up in the same room I had previously or my desired room in which I stated in the mail last time. Oh my I seriously want to have a blank mat for designing, it would be fun after all. Art is just wondrous. Toiled 6:07 PM ~
