back to work



So I'm finally back to work. yep, you read that right. I just got back. I was not able to report yesterday cause I got stranded at home. There's no traffic and no colorum vehicles available. Much to my dismay, of course. I tried the bus stops but the buses were already overloaded -- so definitely a No-no to me. So I texted my Tatay and told him I'm coming home and I'd wait for him in the terminal.

So now I'm back. lots of business to finish. Nonetheless, I love being at work-- getting my pay (and my bonus, yey!)--- and see my friends! I think most of them love my new hair. =D thank God! syempre, thank you ate for shouldering half of the cost. *grins*

good friday





hi blogger. except for Tatay and my puppy shinshin-- the rest of the family and i went to Baliwag, Bulacan to witness the procession. I really don't want to go since I want to finish my cases I brought home plus the fact that I don't get to wash my hair due to the rebond. (reasons were piling up!!) Then I realized that a lot more reasons to attend exist. 1. I get to take great photographs; 2. i am fulfilling my catholic duties; 3. luis will surely love the experience; and 4. ate will owe me big time.

So we went. I took photographs. Then I watched the procession. One by one, scenes of Jesus'suffering passed me by. And I realized that even God had to face a huge challenge.. and I did wonder how he felt knowing he would die. I realized a lot of things with this experience, and somehow it renewed my faith and I felt this gratitude to God for going through all those humiliation and pain just to save mankind. Believe me, for 30 minutes-- I've never felt more christian in my life. It was a nice experience.. something worth writing about.

And to you Jesus, thank you for saving me. Thank you for your protection and guidance.

hair rebond



had my first rebond yesterday. it took 4 and a half hour to finish. my scalp ached when they put the neutralizer and the cellophane i literally felt tears in my eyes. haay. the price of beauty. hehe.

White sand beach



For a couple of days now I've been dreaming of white sand beaches. But the water is always calm and crystal blue. Such wonderful , wonderful dream. Last night's dream was an unadulterated shoreline. I swam in the cool waters and saw a Pawikan. But something scary happened when I started to swim but seems like I can't get to the shore. I started to feel the tiredness and short for air. That was pretty scary. Hmmm wonder what it means....

gimme a break!!



ei, been a long time huh? well, i do not have any good excuse to write down like falling fireballs or stuff. guess i'm just not in the mood to write or better yet, i am so busy with stuff that i'd rather sleep than record it here.

after bacolod and iloilo, i am to return to Cebu. I am not that excited about goin back to Cebu cause it means waking up early, paying terminal fees and 2 additional cases for me to resolve. Ay, Caramba! most of all, i would miss my cubicle for an entire day. Hehe. I am tired of planes (as of this moment-- it'll past, believe me) and i do need a break from work. really, a good break. like a week vacation somewhere out there.

Weekend was hectic as usual with joyful activities that involved my relatives on my father's side. :) Thank you Ate Meanne for the treat!!

Of course,with all the blessings that I am getting, I should not forget my number 1 guy---the one who truly loves me. God the father, thank you for everything.

miracles



do you believe in miracles? i do. i believe that little miracles happen everyday. we went to visit my friend who got figured in a car accident today. i am glad he is recuperating very well.. he has this halo brace which is attached to his head. i thought he would looked scary just like the first time i went to see him when he was still in the scu. but today was different, he's back to his old self. well.. except that he's wearing metal gear and he is immobilized at the moment. he said "sana makalakad pa ako ulit.." and deep in my heart i am praying for that too. i do hope that God would give him the gift of walking again. I pray that God would give him the patience and determination to hurdle this trial in his life. I know he will pass it. I know he will walk again, know why? because I believe in miracles.

the invasion of the eastern visayas





Last week, a seminar was conducted by the Office. I was luckily included in the team. It was the first time that I'd be going to Bacolod and Iloilo.

I dropped by Bacolod to conduct a hearing and then proceeded to Iloilo for the seminar. Of course, I had to see SM City Bacolod and taste la paz batchoy. Good thing my afternoon hearing was unnecessary that we could go to Iloilo at around lunch time.

When I arrived in Iloilo- I immediately went to the hotel. The seminar went smoothly with few administrative glitches of course. But we managed. On friday morning, we went to the market and bought boxes and boxes of delicacies. I have to remind myself that I need a spare hand for the Guimaras mangoes, which are known for their sweetness. In the end, I was not able to buy mangoes because I already have a lot to carry.

Bacolod and Iloilo are progressive cities in the Visayas, I love its people-- they are warm and helpful. And most importantly,they always have a smile for you.

It was a good trip, a fulfilling one in fact-- i mean visiting three provinces in one trip is really something, right? Guimaras is wonderful province with its beautiful beaches and islets. Going back is definitely in my itinerary.
