Craig and Debbie gave Brady a BBQ for graduation. He was finally able to test it out this weekend since we received a few hours of sun outside. Todd and Amanda came over to try out the burgers before we headed over to the movies for Pirates of the Caribbean.

Glasses

So as many of you know....I have had bad vision for about a year now. I refused to believe that I needed glasses since I have had perfect vision my whole life. However, I don't think I can go through another season of baseball without knowing the score or the inning. The other day I thought it was the 6th inning and it was really the 8th.....it was like I lost a whole hour of my life or something. So there you have it....the Yankees have forced me to go to the eye doctor. Here is a picture of me at the store. I actually got 2 different pairs so I will post a picture of the second pair later. I actually like the other pair better....so trust me it does get better.

In case anyone was worried that I didn't have to grow up being called 4 eyes and such....Brady has willingly devoted all of his time to name calling just so I will feel like I didn't miss out on that.

A Traumatic Experience

Today Brady and I were driving to the store and we passed Pet Smart, so we decided to go in and look around. We then decided we wanted to buy a fish....but realized they were cheaper at Walmart. After arriving at Walmart and seeing the poor selection, we headed back to Pet Smart at 8:58 with the store closing at 9pm. Somehow Brady spotted a turtle for $15 and we made a rational decision to get one. The guy pulled one out, put it in the box, and walked it to the register before I could even get a word in. Of course I had to ask the guy checking us out what to put it in....I was informed a 55 gallon tank. I started to get a little nervous at that moment. We walked out to the car...I opened the box.....realized I couldn't even touch the animal....and started to freak out. I grabbed the receipt and ran back into the store. I told the guy I couldn't handle this animal and I wanted to return it. He was nice about it and just laughed at me for not knowing anything about turtles. Oh and I forgot to mention that Brady refused to come into the store with me because he was humiliated. So yes...we bought our first pet at 9pm and returned it a 9:02pm. I am still a little sad I didn't get to know our first pet at all, and I even forgot to say goodbye. The picture is of our red eared turtle.

GrAdUaTiOn!!!!!

Brady and I graduated and walked this Spring. It was tons of fun to have a lot of our family come visit and support us. Here are the pictures from the big day!!!

Brady's twin brother Tanner graduated with us as well. This was us in the tunnel waiting to walk into graduation. Brady graduated in Economics with an emphasis in Pre-Law. Tanner graduated in Economics and Finance. I graduated in Human Resource Management. Since we were all in the College of Business we were all able to walk together.

This is Dana Swensen our favorite teacher at Utah State University. She teaches Business Correspondence, and teaches it better than any teacher on the planet.

This is my friend Amanda Green. I met her my first semester at USU when she was Amanda Robinson and I was Jamie Hickey. We took tons of classes together, and we have become really good friends.

Yes Amanda and I decorated our caps......and yes we were the only ones in the College of Business that did so hahahhah.

After the ceremony we headed over to Beehive Grill for dinner. It was cool to see a lot of our family together since the wedding.

After dinner we headed back to our place for some Aggie Ice cream. Thank you so so so much to everyone who came to support us; and thank you to everyone that called or sent a congratulations card.
