Texas Baby Shower

My SIL Lindsey and one of my best friends Shayla; threw me a baseball themed baby shower this past Saturday.  They did such an amazing job with the food and decorations, and everyone seemed to have a great time.

Of course I forgot to take a picture with just Shayla and Lindsey, but I did get quite a few of everything else.  And yes I did wear the same shirt for both baby showers.....I have hit the point in my pregnancy where I am refusing to buy any more maternity clothes.

Megan and Christie did two really cute games, and everyone seemed to get a kick out of the one where you had to draw baby nixon holding a bat and ball with the plate on top of your head.

California Baby Shower

My mom and Julie threw me the cutest baby shower while I was visiting.  We just invited family members, and I was really surprised how many people were actually able to make it while we were in town.  I didn't get the best pictures...since I was catching up with as many people as I could.

We had pulled pork sandwiches, potato salad, baked beans, and fruit.  Julie was in charge of the games, and the party favors (blue shower scrub).....they were really cute.

Thanks for the Baby Shower Mom and Julie; it was a lot of fun!!!

We were only missing 4 aunts & 8 girl cousins.....not bad!!!

My grandma was able to get a picture with all of her great grandchildren.  At first Kelsey wanted nothing to do with the picture, but eventually she warmed up to the idea.

Mitch & Amy Visit

Mitch and Amy came to visit us for a few days last week.  We had fun showing them around; even though it rained quite a bit. Kelsey sure loved having all the extra attention!!

 

California Days 5 & 6 & 7

On Sunday we went to church and then had s'mores after dinner.

Kelsey and I visited my Grandma Peggy on Monday, and then had to leave for our flight early Tuesday morning.  

This trip was the perfect way to break up the last trimester of my pregnancy, and we enjoyed getting a break from the Texas heat.

Kelsey LOVED helping my dad with his grapes and fruit trees in the backyard.  I think she would stay out there all day if she could.  Apparently she just picks off the fruit and eats it....ripe or not.
