Halloween Activities

It was fun having Nixon around for all of the Halloween festivities this year.  We went to a pumpkin patch, participated in the Ward Trunk or Treat, carved pumpkins, baked cookies, and went trick or treating.

The Trunk or Treat was the highlight for Kelsey.  She had a blast running around with all of her friends, and we knew where she was about half of the night.

I would also like to mention that Kelsey picked out the costumes this year.  She has been dead set on being a skeleton for the past few months, and she wanted Nixon to be one too.  I was pretty happy with such a simple request.

 

October Randomness

October was CRAZY!!!  We had Nixon's birthday, visitors, Halloween activities, Brady started a new job at Toyota, family pictures, the primary program, soccer games, I went to Houston, and something else that took up a LOT of time (I will post about this later).

I would like to go into more detail on the primary program.  Kelsey did such a great job (we recorded her part since it was her first time). She walked up to the microphone and said her part clearly with no help at all.  "I can choose the right by sharing my toys with my little brother."  I can't say that she actually does that in real life, but she sure said it confidently.
