Disney On Ice

We were pretty excited to take Kelsey to Disney On Ice.  Although, we almost didn't go because Kelsey was so naughty earlier that day.

I am glad we did go....she LOVED it.

Nixon 1 Month Update

Nixon Forman

1 Month

Weight: 10 lbs 1.5 oz (61%)

Height: 21.65 In (60%)

Head: 14.75 (60%)

We survived a whole month with baby Nixon.  I'm not going to lie; that was a LONG month.  He is actually a pretty good baby, but he is still a newborn.  

A few things I want to remember about Nixon up to this point:  

-He does not like to nap during the day at all.  He will go 3 or 4 hours without napping at times.

-He is only going 2 to 3 hours in between feedings day/night.

-Baby acne started when he was 3 weeks old.

-Poops after every feeding.

-Has started smiling for us when we make sounds.

-Sleeps in the pack n play at night and the rock n play during naps.

October Randomness

October was obviously a crazy month for us with Nixon being born.  We had a bunch of stuff to get done on our to-do list, and we wanted to spend as much one on one time with Kelsey as possible.  I really do miss how simple it use to be with just a toddler, but I'm sure we will get back to our daily outings soon enough.

Kelsey has been cracking me up lately.  Here are a few things she has been saying:

-Brady I told you 8 times already

-Oh My Gosh

-Oh my word

-Are you kidding me

-Are you sure

-I don't know

-Why you say that?

-How'd you sleep mom

-That's kinda weird

-Just 2 more minutes

-When I say put it away you put it away

-You have your own hair mom, don't play with mine, play with yours

-Papa will buy it for me

-Your brain will turn to mush 

-If you want to

-I sure will

-Oh that's so nice of you

-Let's see

-If you see a bug you just walk away

-Mom you don't have to be scared it's just pretend

-What in the heck

-That's tricky

-Mom I pooped...don't come in here it smells really bad.  Dad needs to clean my skid marks.

-Ok so do you have any questions? (pretending to by my doctor)

-Kelsey brought her baby doll into my bedroom and said, "Jamie you don't have to cry for your baby doll. You just say Kelsey bring me my baby doll please.  Ok go to sleep. Suck thumb play hair." She leaves and closes the door.  Comes back in, "Jamie I told you 3 times to go to sleep.  So go to sleep."  Starts to leave the room, and then stops to say a goodnight prayer.

See basically copies everything I say to her throughout the day and repeats it back to Brady during the evening.

 

Halloween

We celebrated Halloween by attending our church trunk or treat, and then trick or treating on Monday night.  Kelsey loved dressing up in her Sofia the 1st costume.  The rest of us were lame and didn't dress up this year....maybe next year.
