Grapevine Vintage Train

Yesterday we drove out to Grapevine to ride the train.  I have been wanting to do this ever since we moved here, but I am glad we waited until we had a kid that was old enough to enjoy it.  We will probably be coming back in December when they turn the train into the Polar Express.

Brady's 30th Birthday

For Brady's birthday we went out to eat at Cane Russo if Fairview with Debbie, Tank, and Lindsey.  Kelsey sure enjoyed hanging out by the splash pad after dinner.

Since Debbie was in town, we had a few family outings later that week with everyone.

Easter 2015

This Easter was lot more fun with Kelsey being old enough to participate in the festivities.  We went to the annual Craig Ranch Easter Extravaganza, and I decided that we will probably not be going back in the future.  There were WAY too many families there.  The petting zoo was literally a zoo with kids almost stepping on the little chickens and ducks.  The video below shows the Easter egg hunt portion for the kids ages 2 and under.  As you can see there were tons of people on the field, and that didn't even include the majority of the kids who were all over the age of two. Luckily I was able to grab about 6 eggs for her so she could dump them out of her basket and put them back in once we moved away from the crowds.

Kelsey actually enjoyed looking through her Easter basket, and was interested in every single item.  The rest of the day we spent lounging around watching General Conference.
