Brady and I went on a fun trip to Puerto Vallarta with 10 of our friends. We stayed at Secrets Vallarta Bay Resort, and we had a great time. We went on two excursions, ate lots of food, laid out by the pool and beach, went shopping, and had massages. There was a huge group of golfers staying at our resort, so there were tons of elderly people....it was great!
Our first excursion was a visit to Hidden Beach with snorkeling. We were able to see dolphins and whales on the boat ride out to Hidden Beach. Once we arrived, we had to swim through a tunnel to get inside. We explored two caves before returning to the boat. Then we spent some time snorkeling before heading back. I did get nauseous on the way back, but it wasn't too bad.
The second excursion was a high adventure activity. We started off by boarding a boat to head to our destination. Of course we saw a bunch of dolphins on our ride over. Then we rode in huge ATVs up a mountain. At some point the roads became too narrow for the ATVs so they put us on mules to ride all the way to the top of the mountain. After that we zip lined through the jungle, repelled down a waterfall, were dunked into multiple parts of the river, and put on hockey masks before being pushed down a slide. It was a very wild excursion and we laughed the entire time.
