California Adventure

We spent our final day at California Adventure.  This park isn't really great for toddlers in my opinion, but it also had some of our favorite rides.  Brady loved the Incredicoaster (which made me sick), and I loved the Radiator Springs Racers ride.  We only stayed at the park until 2 pm because we had to catch our flight at LAX.  We were so sad to leave!!!

Brady and I were really grateful that my parents were able to come with us.  It made the trip much more enjoyable for us having two extra adults to help with the kids, but I think they had a lot of fun too!  We can't wait to come back in a few years!!!

Disneyland Day 2

Day 2 at Disneyland was split up into two parts.  We had to leave halfway through the day because the rain was so heavy you literally couldn't even see.  Luckily the rain only lasted a few hours, but we took that time to go back to the hotel so Nixon could nap.  

That morning we were able to go on a few rides before the rain hit.  Then we went to the Holly Jolly Bakery for lunch and some treats.  We all wanted to take home boxes of the Mickey Mouse raspberry macaroons.  Then my mom and I took Kelsey to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for her princess makeover.  She was in HEAVEN!!!  Then we went back to the hotel and changed our clothes.

We went on a few more rides later that evening and then went to the French Market for dinner.  I wanted to go to the Carnation Cafe but it was booked.  Then we watched the parade again while the boys went on more rides.  Kelsey about died having so many princesses wave to her during the parade that night.....she got so much more attention from the Disney characters when she was dressed up than she did the previous evening.  After the parade we hit up a few more rides before heading over to Main Street for the light show.  The kids picked out some souvenirs to take home and then we ended the night dancing in the street with ice cream from Gibson's.  

We LOVED Disneyland!!!!

Disneyland Day 1

We made it to California Tuesday night, and we had a hard time sleeping because we were so excited to go to Disneyland Wednesday morning.  We woke up bright and early so we could be ready at the gates when it opened.  The weather was perfect and we didn't have to wait in lines for too long.  Kelsey met a ton of princesses and Minnie Mouse.  At one point Kelsey darted out of line to chase after Belle....it was pretty funny seeing her run that fast.  Nixon was able to meet Mickey Mouse, and he was really excited to show him his Mickey Mouse key chain.  My favorite part was Mickey's Sensational Parade (and I am not usually a parade person).  We ate lunch at the Red Rose Tavern, had churros for snacks, and Rancho del Zocalo for dinner.
