Topic of the day: Why parents misunderstand their kids
I shall start my rantings now because i just had dad going on about how my grades suck well lets analyze and see if he's right.
First a table.
English, All passes, Usually one of the higher in class
Maths, Full marks for Cumulative frequency, 3/10 for Locus (Counting that 7/8 of the class failed to achieve a bare 6)
Bio , 40/55
Chemistry, Passes for everything , but minor passes only.
What he sees is only my chemistry results, he concludes that i spend alot of time on the computer, my grades suck. He only has to sign my chemistry results. He never needs to sign my Maths, English or Bio papers. Not even counting any of my humanities papers. I'm actually doing moderately well but what he sees is my worse subject next to A maths(dropped) and Chinese B. Is it fair for him to make the statement when everything BUT chemistry is doing alright, that i am playing too much computer? Is it a fair statement i don't think so, he dosen't want proof fine, i won't give it to him. But because i don't want to start a fight especially at this time of night. Is it fair at all? The world is not fair yes i know, but at least parents should see all sides of the story before making a conclusion. Its up to the parents to check on all the results. All my results are doing ok besides chinese and Chemistry. Who is he to say that my grades suck because of that? I do well in so many other things but he throws a blind eye on that. IF i showed him the rest of my papers now i'd bet he'd say otherwise but i won't incase he goes into a furore.
Unreasonable on my side i say 8/10. Wheres the fairness in that?
Half of the time i barely am even home on a school weekday. I spend 3/5 days in school till 6pm+ and when i get home , finish my work and study it is already past 10 and then i start to play. What he sees is only the ending and not the middle part of it. Fair? No i think. Its not fair in this at all!

Sunday, February 26, 2006As it has been a while , its time i updated.
We lost the debate for the second time running, that means we officially suck. Went for CIP yesterday did flagday at Novena. Quite "fun", had to wake up at 5 am in the morning to message my partner for CIP, whoose name i shall not mention due to personal reasons. We went down and to realize at first we were the only 2 bpsians who signed on. Then there were 3 others. We went down to Novena by 162 and chatted the whole way. Stood outside and asked for donations for a few times. In the end went to eat around 11.45am+ , we talked and went back to give in the tins. Then my partner went to buy some curry puffs for mother then we went off , very tired lor..
Went for the cat class reunion really nice stuff. I miss my friends. Had a long talk with Magdalene and Camillius.
Today was ok for choir. Went for breakfast , had BK, then after choir we met Jovan lol. We went on to TP to get Brennan's new game, Empire at war, which i got for free :P... And yeah here i am.

Its been nearly a year since we went for this SYF. It was a great experiance, i cocked up that day , thank god we still got silver. Tears were shed, people overjoyed. We had acheived the silver our seniors lost, in their place we have made their loss our success. We have done them proud. BUT that is all in the days of 2005. There is now no WE in the band Spirit. No matter how much we try to bond there is just no connection. No one works together, no family bond like there was before our attendance problem is worse then ever. Something must be done soon.

I'm tired, bored and sian. I spent Valentine's day like i do on all the other days. Busy and buggered. Fhaizmel and Lukman came over just now to jam out abit and then we played abit of Dota, I just finished Kavi's work, i fell asleep in the chair as i was working on it lol. Now its fully ready for reading lol. I'm going to sleep now zzz..Good night.

Saturday, February 11, 2006Haven't posted for a week. Had a very very busy week. 3 Major tests and the debate. On Thursday we had to stay back in school till like 10pm+ and then Darrel came to my place to chill out till 11.45 or so. On Friday the debate did'nt favour us, but we only lost by a mere 2 points. After the debate Yi Wei and Darrel came to my place and we thoned the whole night. Darrel left at 12+ but Yi Wei stayed over till about 11am today. We thon the whole night, Dota, AoW, Maple(Yi Wei Only), alot of games sia.

My two instruments, related. In the background you can just see my Battlefield 2 mousepad and my microsoft mouse. Sian. I have not finished my POA or studied for Chem, Bio or Maths. I did Hui Han's and Zi Wei's PCs over the weekend. Today went for choir in the morning. Brennan did'nt go he had to go study, poor guy, do well yes? We had breakfast at the prata house and for the 2nd time straight...they did not give us our bill lol! Anyway after choir pract i went for lunch with Daniel and went down to the computer shop at Bishan. After getting the new Floppy drive and checking the stuff i walked past a restaurant and who should i see but John and Jess lol? I just saw them off at choir pract haha. Anyway i just came back from doing HH's pc. Gonna go finish POA and study for E maths.
