D day and more
Ok so exams start Friday and by next Wednesday I'll be a free man. Yesterday studied with Joshua and happened to run into Guo Sheng and Kenneth at the Library. Today i went to Grandma's house with dad and bro and we looked through some of the old photographs and there were moments of reminiscence. I never knew i looked THAT chubby when i was younger. Good thing I'm a lot more balanced in my teen years.

Anyway the work done for today is a wrap up of immunology at last. The finishing touches are in place and I feel appropriately prepared to take on the paper and hope to at a least past and at at most do moderately well though not EXCEPTIONALLY well. I have looked through 4 past year papers and tried to answer them to my best before refering. I've constructed 2 overviews of B cell and T cell life cycles and processes and a "gamers" guide to immune cells and their function or at least it is to me. I'm only a tad bit worried about some chapters but hopefully my knowledge will stay me and I'll do alright.

Here is a picture which shows my desk as of 7.50pm.

Ok on to other matters. Lets rewind to monday. Celebrated Gary's birthday a day late cause he was busy on Sunday. We ate at the "Little Part 1" cafe. I shall refrain from mentioning names but look at the dishes...mmmm good...we had chicken shnitzels and fries and onion rings..a pizza crepe, sausages and shared the cake. Between 5 of us the bill was about $100 rather $99.20. Roughly $20 a person. Not too bad.

AND heres the happy gay..i mean guy :X, testing out my headphones yesterday. With the band brushing his hair back i daresay he looks a tad bit like Ridzwan.

and finally...I couldn't resist. I took this photo this afternoon. The two boys lazing around in the room. Dragon (White) and Max (Striped Grey).

Gotta love my cats...

I photoshoped this and I will update it daily and cancel out the subjects as they go by.

Fishy business literally
Ok today's blog post is about the fish farm visits a few weeks back. Hadn't time to upload the pictures so here they are.

Here we have fish i think they're Kai or Koi can't remember...
Over here we have some small fish which i've no idea what they are but apparently they are unanimous in action. Every fish changed direction at about the same time all the rest did. Amazing!
Ok this bugger is astounding. He is the fattest and largest sucker fish i've EVER seen in my life. This shot of him is just like 1/6 of the actual tank size. This is without zooming the camera too!
Discus...need i say more?
More discus, I've no idea why the nature of these little buggers are just attractive. They seem so...calm all the time and give you the..."Hi there, who are you?" look.

Ok frogs here..they were engaging in the rather embarrassing act of copulation. Noisy and loud they were. Though i don't think any species is much better are they?
Cat fish....the only thing that resembles a cat on them are the whiskers otherwise predominantly they are fish.
More frog humping action....eh heh
Arowanas....big and scary...
This dude really brings out the word GOLD in Goldfish...by standing out from the rest.

Fish are amazing creatures but then again a burden to care for...I love my cats more.

On to other matters...

Exam preparations are coming along...but not too well...
Gary's birthday is TODAY.
Monday celebrations.
Then its on to hardcore studying till Friday...to think that it'll all be over next Wednesday!
I'll be free!! HAHAHA!

Ok so its getting late..finish off with my review on "The Mummy: Tomb of the dragon emperor". The show was a sad addition to the mummy line of movies. This show SERIOUSLY lacked plot and character development. Many of the old characters lacked much of the personality that they were in the previous show. It felt very alien to even me who has watched the previous mummy films apart from some of the nifty lines that bring back some familiar sequences in the previous shows. The plot was poorly developed and lacked alot of depth. It feels as though character and film development was sacrificed to cut costs and to produce a quick release.

I shall stop here. May Singapore have many more years of prosperity...and more wealth to its people rather....

Plans

I've made a new regime for myself. From today or rather tomorrow onwards. I shall proceed with a personalised Aerobic and Anaerobic exercise routine. I plan to do 40 mins a day in 10 minute intervals on weekends and 20 minute bouts on weekdays in the early morning or evening.

The routine shall consist of slow jogs, j-jacks, spot running, push ups and sit ups. Slowly i shall add more to this routine. Within a month I hope to see results.

On top of that...I must concentrate on the exams that are inbound. Immunology prac tomorrow, Aqua prac on Wednesday. Next Friday Immuno paper, Following Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are MMB,CCTA and Aquaculture. I must do well. I must get my GPA above 3!

On to music. I shall engage a new routine where i shall practice both my saxophone and flute at least 10 minutes a day. Scales at the minimum and if nothing keeps me from going on perhaps abit of playing.

Today was truly inspiring. I sounded much better in church today then i've ever had in a long time. I hope to keep this up and one day become a good musician.

Now only three things in life really matter. Grades, Health and Music, in no respective order. One month or so of this kind of routine and perhaps i'll start to see results.

Those of you who read my blog and scoff at my attempts to get into shape, I shall prove you wrong. The flesh may be weak but the will shall prevail!

Ok back to studying now.
