Wow...how boring....

So here i am sitting in the middle of another boring info tech class....Mr Phang is talking about some crappy PSI thingy he stole off the NEA website for our work today. Its like WOW so cool...-_-...

Stage band till 10 last night and I was sweating to high hells, all for the performance this Sunday. We need a good impression so that we'll be called back for another performance. We need just that.

Sigh...tonight gotta go for All saints vigil...gotta rush home after school to get my flute and the scores for mass. Man it's going to be real tiring....very tiring...

Where things stand

Ok its 10.49 pm when i started this entry.

So lets rewind to yesterday or maybe Friday?

Ok so Friday yes. Casual day at school really nothing much at all. Went to school for IS modules and came home. I caught the bus with Ling Li and some of her classmates since its better to go home with friends then alone. I was supposed to go for sax lessons but upon messaging Mr Steven. Wooptie doo, he's away I forgot..entirely. So i spent the rest of the day sitting on my arse at home doing nothing much.

Friday. I received an SMS at 1pm in the morning that said...SIM 11am.

I was like OK and went about my business and didn't sleep till 3am.

Woke up, one look at the clock and I told myself..wow 10 am...I'll be late thanks.

I walked to the toilet and took my shower. I came back and ooo LOOK another message..11.30 SIM alright..So i walked leisurely out of the house and to the bus stop and took 52 after taking a short chat with Jade's mum.

Got on the bus arrived at SIM at 11.30 sharp. Only Karmen was there and so we talked for the next half an hour and thats how it went. The princess of Egypt was late...as usual.

Regardless the day zoomed by and stage band practice came and went. Took a cab down to Fisherman's wharf to celebrate mum's birthday. Those Cheese prawns were good....mmm..

Came home at like 11 ish and did the last minute stuff. Packing the equipment for Sunday and such. Closed my eyes and I was on a one way trip to knockout land for the rest of the time.

Then it came to today.

6.30. Violently shaken awake by brother. It seems we almost overslept. Good thing we managed to get out of bed. Bro told me to go first and that i did. I went down first and got the stuff set up and got ready for mass.

Mass was so so but i won't say it was perfect.

Ate at BK for breakfast and got some robitussin's and a waterchest nut and sugar cane. Prac went swell...lunch at KFC in memory of the late and revered father Foisson.

Jo and I were going to have an afternoon off just catching up on the times but John stopped us for a while and told us to go back to the choir room to do a recording of pachabel canon. Which we did.

It was quite alright judging that we practiced only on the day itself after 6 tries.

Spent the rest of the day catching up with Jo and having some fun on the computers. Youtube videos, quakewars and that, but of course time has its limits and it was getting late and Jo took his leave. Spent the rest of the time on quakewars and I gotta do that prelab shit for tommorow's lab lesson.

Its going to be one hell of a week. Monday: Photocopy scores for proposed idea with shaun. Tuesday: Stageband practice. Wednesday: All saints vigil mass at 8pm. Thursday: Band and a whole lot of hell to pay forward. Friday: Sax lesson and stuff. Saturday: Band, hopefully no more shit to sort then and misc. Sunday: Mass at 7, practices, preparation for Christmas carolling season.

Lots of stuff to do and lots of "bills" to pay.

Just an offside note , When things hit the roof, due to incompetence sometimes its best to revert to the table of problem solving guides.

This is my proposed solution out of the quagmire.

Problem -> Start -> Does the damn thing work ->No-> Did you fuck with it?->Yes->Shit happens->Is your ass covered?->Maybe yes but I best take no->Can you blame someone else-> No-> Is problem intermittent? -> No -> Is boss pissed off? -> More then likely she is ->Beg for forgiveness (maybe not begging though reasoning)-> Did begging work? - ??? Hopefully the answer be yes lest i become a crane operator and leave it at that.

I should afterall pay for my mistakes and therefore I should be sincere in admitting them especially since the one i hurt is a friend. I take this friendship to be worth something so I will take this responsibly for I knew not what i was thinking.

I gotta do that prelab shit. If not Eddie's going to be pissed big time. Ciao...

An honest living

So ask me if i enjoy life. I'll tell you its alright.

Things seem to be all bright and cheery in the mean time but however it still fails to answer something though. (No mention)

Recently we have gotten our projects and gotten the gears grinding. We're slowly turning the cogs of war and heading towards the battles. Lets see what can come of it.

I live a honest life. I care for people if they let me care for them, I do what I'm told to do, I do more then I'm told for the greater good. Whats more to say?

But its people like me who need a life. Yup a life.

5 years ago in Sec 1, Sylvia told me "Get a life" until now...have I gotten a life?

Someone tell me because it seems i don't.

Off now

Homophobic

This just gets me on about it. I'm seriously homophobic. After what happened when i was in sec 3 when that GAY bastard approached me, i tell ya I'll kill the next gay that so much as tries to touch me. I'd break his fingers and puncture his balls i say.

I mean whats wrong with these people. I mean sure you like guys but you don't approach any Tom, Dick or Harry you meet on the street and try to pick them up would you. Let alone try to touch them within your first 10 minutes of meeting them.

Homosexualism is just simply put wrong by all means if you ask me. If you gave gays the right to have sex with each other legally. If i was given the right to shoot anyone i thought necessary i would shoot every gay I saw.

I mean in Singapore i'd say you were damn lucky. Try being gay in somewhere like Iraq or a muslim nation. Man you bastards would be shot dead in an instant.

Moral here?

Don't approach people so straight on. If you're gay suppress it. Don't have to freak out all the straight men.

For me, If you're gay but don't act so infront of me good enough.

If you're gay and you act like one, get out of my sight before I kill you.

If you're a gay and i don't know and you don't act like one. As long as i don't find out I will probably not kill you.

Making up that gap
Today, i was late for OC practical and got locked out for a while and together with Jaslyn,Nithya, Carmen and Kendrick we were after 5 minutes let in by Dr Eddie. The experiment was none too fun but yeah. I took this picture during the lesson, in where i wore Joe's blue framed glasses for a while.

I look like a freaking retard -_-...
regardless anyway, we ate at canteen 1 and I had chicken rice and we headed down to the underpass to kill some time and then finally came the boredoms of the day. 3 hour lecture straight. Thank god i was equipped with Sour Sweets to stay awake. People were falling all around me and I was growing real faint..but thanks to the sourness. I kept awake as did my comrades.

After class i just went straight home and played stalker till around 8ish and did some stats and other stuff. Now finally doing this entry. Man i look a pillock in that photo..

Thursday

Spent almost the whole day at home. I got my haircut. Earlier on Thursday the people who stay below me had a loud quarrel. It sounded like the man was beating up his wife though. Scary.

Went to school at 3pm..waited for band to start. Ate at Alumni clubhouse with the usual group except with Wee Chee.

Things were not well in band. The music was bad, intonation for flute section was terrible even among year 3's. (No offence)

However on a note, alot of people came back and Karmen was actually talking on her own. A miracle if ever seen. Lets just see how it all comes together.

After band I sorted all the scores got the borrowing of scores sorted. Went to KAP with Bel, Mitch and Aloy. Conrad pang sehed us.

We stayed till about 11.40 and Aloysius had to rush off, while i waited for the girls to go off. Eric, Ruth and Wei Kit got on the bus and soon the 52 came and the girls were off too. So then i began my late journey back home. Tomorrow(Friday) will be a busy day if i ever knew one. Saturday even more so. I gotta get to work.

Like HELLO?

Today's stuff was OK. I enjoyed the stats lecture, hell i'm interested in learning stats for now. Cell Bio tutorial was good! Interesting.

We spent three hours stoning. We went to eat at canteen 1 and I met a whole group of Bpsians and Madam Faizah who were there on course (Journalism). It feels so good to be in the company of juniors and feel loved. Had a brief 20 minutes went down to the underpass and gamed with Tim and Joe while Phil went off to meet a friend and CC to meet his girlfriend.

Infotech was BORING. I MEAN LIKE HELLO??? Do you have to teach us stuff thats SO SIMPLE?

Gee whiz.

Won't mention more.

Cell bio lecture was no where as interesting as tutorial. It was dead boring that half of the class was half asleep.

After school went for the MAJOR committee/SL meeting for band. It was a mind bending meeting and definitely could make people pull hairs but for me I feel like a private in the company of generals of otherwise in the company of giants.

I can't mention details here because it is plain sensitive information.

I went for supper with Kenneth Koh. It was a good lasting time, i took him to the clarity cafe (haha Alfred. Once more!), and he enjoyed the meal.

Alot of sensitive details and opinion sharing though. Real good time.

I've got to get to other stuff. Time to get a haircut though. Tomorrow no school due to the LSCT staff on retreat so i guess i will go get a haircut then.

Ciao all

Photojournal
Short and sweet here, some photos from yesterday's lab experiments. Sample 1 :TEA with some additives that were needed for the experiment. Wei Sheng messed up the first set so we needed another 6 tea bags. Lol..
Tea solution in a flask, Wei Sheng can clearly be seen in this one. Not long after he broke a measuring cylinder. Bad luck ole chum :(
Another shot of the LSCT logo and main insignia. Got bored haha. Well these were from yesterday but i realised i forgot to upload them.

First day

Ok so today was the first day back. Got accustomed to all the regular procedures. Got some new stationary. Some new lecture stuff and asked charissa if i could borrow her biostats textbook from last sem. Pretty much thats all haha. Nothing much to report today apart from the fact that just a few minutes ago bro and I cleaned out the room and tossed out all the trash and old scores. We just lugged the whole lot downstairs and dumped it into the bulky refuse. Rofl. This room is going to be cleaner than ever. O and its Tuesday already haha. time to go. Haha

Load up, get ready and MOVE OUT!

And today marks the official end of the holidays. Tomorrow many NP and NYP students will be heading back to school for their second semester. I will be among that throng. Back to the war, gear's all packed and brain's all ready. Let's go kick ass :P

Today, Mass was good and sounded well. The intonation was good, I like the way my tone and Aaron's clarinet tone blends when we play the Gloria. Although Jo accidentally screwed up the Loving and Forgiving intro solo....well we all make mistakes don't we? It's forgivable.

Otherwise all went well. Although spent alot of time laughing like mad about Borat we got through with practice and came back for sax lesson. Next week I'll get ready to choose my next COA either..Jazz 3 or 4 or Classical 5.

Went to the Clarity Cafe (AGAIN) , came back and slept like a log. Woke up at 9pm (yes I missed on cutting my hair NO!!!!!), ate dinner , watched some tube and now here i am trying to get this entry out before the midnight mark.

Its been real fun this holiday. With friendships being forged and good times had. Although nothing is set in iron yet but one day hopefully it shall. Just like how my brothers and I get along. Ben, Bren and Jo. Non blood brothers who although see each other once a week, we can trust each other beyond all others. What wouldn't anyone pay for friends like that?

10/14/2007 11:58:00 pm

How i spent the day

Some carry over from last entry, after reading some blogs I realised i missed out on the detail so yeah. Guess i should include movie details.

So here goes my elaborate movie rating l33t2 5k331 (leet speak muahaha) (it actually says leetz skeel or elite skill)

The Detective: Simple story plot of a rather normal murder mystery design however nice twists and good humour turn the otherwise simple show into a worthy work of art.

The make was obviously euro/western influenced. Most of the movie styling was done in western concept with more focus on sounds then visuals to scare the viewer. The humour was a good mix of asian and western humour which is rather entertaining.

The plot twists were elaborate and well thought of and I feel I can liken it to watching a real detective going about his work. The gaps in the story line although were quite numerous were good in creating suspense. In the end no one can guess the story for it was totally unexpected that the final supernatural aspect of this show would show through. A vengeful ghost (typical western/japanese style). Some what i think were intentionally blurred parts were explained in the ending however the makers of the show obviously forgot to patch up some holes such as the unexplained letter in the drawer of the widow and the coincidental appearance of the main character's police man friend at the bomb scene in the dead of night.

All in all..a good watch which deserves 4 popcorns out of 5. Since it is an Asian film I don't think i can match it up to western films which I usually expect a better quality of but on the standard since many asian countries are still amateur or growing in their movie industries , I think its just fair yes?

Now on to the regular posting.

Ok I woke up early this morning and decided that before school began I would format my laptop to a clean slate and tidy it up. Which i did with a big confusion because I forgot what was the shortcut key to change the boot order and ended up screwing up my previous OS anyway. So i did a clean format and while waiting I watched Shaun the sheep...RIDICULOUSLY funny man. Then when i ran out of Shaun the Sheep episodes, I watched Claymore (brother in law aka Kor Bobby) introduced this to me and it basically is about a boy and his friend who is a claymore (which are warrior women who have been raised to fight demons being with their own human bodies infused with demon blood) thus we have it. Its a nice show, not m18 at all and has some blood or gore here and there but i suppose it is alright. Since it is a violent show to begin with.

After that i went for lunch with mum at the Clarity Cafe...good stuff...today there was something interesting going on. Apparently some guy was doing a food review there and he had his TV crew and all there. Interesting.

After eating I came home to try and play away my afternoon but noooo...weather+nice lunch= sleep...

Nice equation huh?

So i slept till like 7pm

And continued the game. To this point in time that is. Haha...Tommorow i've got to get a few important things done...cut hair, pack up room and clear out junk, have saxophone lesson, prepare for school. Yikes.

I'm eager but at the same time not overly enthusiastic. At least school will keep my mind of "some" things. Ok so i've got to go bathe at yes(12.12am) and go get more rest before mass in the morning. I want to be playing at my best.

I'm done here. Gute Nacht.

Interesting day

Well Ok, I had a good time today. I left work feeling happy and at the same time sad about the fact i was leaving. I will miss you guys at Aviva, DAMN much. Hopefully with much luck over the February and March Holidays in 08 I can go back and do more for the department. Get the work ready for me yeah?

Well after that i went to get the tickets for the movie "The Detective". At Cineleisure I saw three german girls who were obviously sisters. How awkward they sounded and looked in this asian society. Regardless i got the tickets and went down to rocky masters for a devil's brew. That stuff hits the spot man. I waited for Aloysius and Belinda to arrive. I got Sis's book and met a variety of people today. Jervena (Hey you look different haha, nice seeing you after so long), Weng Fai ( No difference, still the same guy i knew), Iddie and lastly Kai wen (you too look VERY different after so many years). We saw Jasper at dinner though. He didn't look very enthusiastic to see us there.

Regardless had fun at the movies and taking those neoprints. Real fun stuff.

Just a note, to whoever I make fun of. I don't really mean it, i'm just joking with ya, if you've got anything to say about it do tell me. I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings if i can help it.

Man I'm tired...yawn..

No fancy tricks just plain me

Earlier i played some WIC to lighten the mood. Since i was feeling rather blue the whole day. I practiced the song of fire and water with bro. The two parts go real nice with each other when combined with the piano. B-E-A-U-TIFUL. Anyway the scores from WIC were quite alright. Majority 500 points over the usual 300s. No top scores today because of a lack will and tolerance. Other wise today's games were fruitful. More like yesterday?

Today IS Thursday. Means jazz band prac at 3pm and symph band at 6pm. O boy, going to be real tired. Now i'm at a hold. Mary called me earlier to ask me if i was going for taize this Friday. Basically when it comes between one's faith and being with friends. Which one actually matters?

Don't like this making this decision. Anyway. Glad someone has pressed the stop button to the stupid childish tag board war. At least the tag board can be used for something USEFUL. Other then wasteful spam and crap. I'm going to sleep. Don't wanna fall asleep in the office again.

Just a note, a few days ago i Saw a sigh that says don't sleep in the underpass. What an oxymoron...there were 5 people sleeping in the underpass under the sign...wow..they follow law...haha. Dream time.

Funny the circumstances are

Today was a rather fruitful and interesting day. The whole compliance department had to go to SUNTEC for a meeting or talk actually. So i was advised to just take the day off which i reluctantly took. I called Joshua up to have lunch with him at Surf and Turf. Nice Carbonara haha. Well regardless, had a nice long chat with Joshua over the current affairs of the circle of friends. My predictions were all true. I knew it when i saw it. Well anyway after that when we left we saw one of the exchange people forgot her name (sorry).

After that I headed down to school by MRT and I took the opportunity to buy all the necessary things. Like the OPC manual for Monday's term start.

After that I went back and Wei Ren and Min Si were there already Daryl Hor came back soon enough with the band room key. We got to practicing and Sebastian finally came. We started with "I'm beginning to see the light" and we had some fun with that. Then we did "American Patrol" which I thought was great stuff. Things got even more fun when Yi Yang came. Two altos and one tenor, two trombones, one trumpet and one piano. It was an interesting mix. I liked it alot. Julian came by later during the later half of the practice. We were going for a game of pool later.

I helped Aloy carry his keyboard back to the piano/strings room. I met Tim Ang and Pei Xuan there.

We went down to BTP to get some grub first, most of the band peeps left after us so Julian and I went up for pool first. It was quite fun. I won 3 games and Julian won 2.

Julian lost the decisive one to me by hitting the 8 ball into the wrong hole. Hahaha...

By rules I won that one haha..

Well when it comes to the end of day I stop to think and I just realized this when i was on the bus.

Next year my flute juniors might probably scratch their heads in wonder why their SL is a better saxophonist then he is a flautist? Or maybe isn't he the flute SL? Why is he playing the sax for the jazz band?

I don't get it either. I practice flute so often and I usually play sax only on weekends when i have lesson with Mr Steven. Apart from the 137/150 I got for my Grade 4 sax which scored me a distinction (Thanks Aloy, Mr Steven, Conrad (for comments) and any other people who gave their support)

Yet I'm still a better saxophonist then flautist by a great deal.

Curious aint it?

I'm not self praising myself but i'm just wondering why it is so.

Well anyhow today allowed me to see some things to be true to what I see think they were and to realise I have friends that i can always turn to for support.

Through the oddest times and my worst behaviours, its great to know I have friends like Julian,Alfred, Brennan and Joven and all others who I have not mentioned here but i honour in my heart.

Sometimes you feel like ditching a friend but you feel after a while that your pride is what has to go.

This now is the matters of the heart segment of my entry.

Regardless of your friends and how great they are and how close they are sometimes you just want to find that special someone who will never leave your side and be there to stand the tests of time through all the thick and thins of life. To understand you more than any friend.

I don't know how my own intentions are now but I've officially met closed doors on every option. Some closed voluntary due to circumstantial issues, some to matters of other friends to which I have quietly ceded my own wishes for theirs. Some because of the responsibility I bear upon myself.

I know infront of most of my friends i put up a strong front and appear emotionally stable with no problems deep down to trouble me, but hey even tough fronted people need to break out the bottled feelings.

I've listened to the stories of so many individuals and given back what i can but I have never shared the bottled feelings I have with anyone for quite some time.

Well that wraps up today's entry. Time to go bathe and enjoy the remains of the night

So where was I?

Ok back to the programme.

Monday was...nothing special. Went to work..nearly fell asleep..got a green tea to get some bit of caffeine in the blood and clear some of that oil from the day earlier. I finished the sanction lists by 11am..but...GASP....the file became corrupted and I had to revert to a save file from 4 days earlier. The 4th of October.

Well Damen told me to go for lunch first and worry about that later. So i did. I met Julian at Adelphi after he called me to tell me he couldn't collect his laptop from asus without identification. I suggested to use his Student card. With much help it did work. We had a nice long chat over a lunch and a ride back to raffles place. Although I was half an hour late from normal lunch hours I managed to wriggle through a lie (my bad..I know i shouldn't be), that i was taking a bus when i realized i had no money to board the bus.

Well anyway I finished the redo of the Sanction lists by 4.30 and spent the next 1.5 hours reading on Battle Tanks, Armoured vests and stuff like that since I got real bored...

On my way back I went to Thomson Plaza with Sis and Bro in law...well you can say we had a fun time talking a whole lot of rot and stuff. In the car I was like...what happens when wind flies? You get WINDSOR, I happened to get that idea when I saw the street name Windsor Park. Haha...Heres another one...A police man caught a robber hiding in a safe..but why would he do that?

The robber thought he would be safer. Haha...Lameness..

Well came home and played some WIC to kill the boredom. Sometimes when i look in my MSN contact list i really wonder about the endless childishness that some people in engage in no matter how old they really are?

Name calling, photo editing, backstabbing and arguing. It all happens online most of the time. It seems as we get older we get more childish rather than mature. Or so it seems. Maybe a teenager and an adult's childishness could be called mature by the fact where its not just simplistic childishness per se...but maybe on a higher level. With just a wee bit more thought perhaps.

Sis's shopping cart. She was inside Unity looking for some lotion for her skin.

And for those who don't know what fairprice looks like....here we go. Hah..ok off to bed..

A rant or two

Well basically...while at dinner at Miss Clarity's I was having a SPLITTING HEADACHE and was almost going to melt to the ground due to the intense heat from the unforgivable weather. I was in a really bad mood and I didn't feel like talking to anyone about anything. After cooling off under a fan and a few glasses of cold water, the headache eased off and I felt more sociable.

Then i was ranting to bro and mum about how smokers are so impolite these days as some faggot at a nearby table started smoking. YES SMOKING infront of people who were trying to eat. DUDE your ciggs contain alot of stuff that most of us don't want in our lungs. Keep it to yourself.

Then i saw that old bugger Daryl. What a waste he and his brother have turned out to be. Smokers, drinkers and what have you. NO one will ever catch me dead in the company of those kind of undesirables.

Next was about the poor and uncivilised Singaporeans.

After yesterday's incident involving "Yellow T-shirted Food scrounger at the KFC at Bukit Timah Plaza".

In a country such as this...how can one even be caught dead BEGGING for food?

For heaven sakes the guy had 2 working arms and 2 working legs. Why dosen't he go find a job. Bloody useless hobo for all i know. I mean sure disabled people I can forgive but how can people with working and attached limbs dare to live off the money of their more fortunate counterparts?

Its parasitism. All people with working arms and legs should get themselves jobs, retarded or not. The government should have taken care of you. I believe if you have working and attached limbs that are all fully functional (none missing too) you are therefore QUALIFIED to at least hold a cleaning job or something. One should never scrounge for food at all. In a country where lower end jobs are shunned by upper class Singaporeans. Its the people who are too lazy to be educated (or maybe unfortunate) who should fill up the gaps. Why should we rely on foreigners to cover our undesirable jobs?

Construction workers, cleaners, security guards...how many of them actually ARE Singaporean?

I mean go to Australia and you find Caucasian construction workers, Caucasian cleaners (young ones too) and Caucasian checkout people at the supermarket and yes those people are teenagers! Save the construction workers maybe. IF the Europeans, Americans and Australians can do all the lower class jobs in their countries why don't the lower class people of Singapore do the same?

I mean what the hell is with the Elitist society in Singapore?

Rule 1: You must have a good paying job.

Rule 2: You must have a diploma or degree ( or A level cert )

Rule 3: You MUST have a job that allows you to live in luxury regardless if you like it or not.

Rule 4: You must get married to a beautiful girl/woman or handsome man. (Or so people believe)

The mindless list goes on and on.

Bottom line..If Caucasians dare to do the lower class jobs in their country. Why do the lower class people who end up with no good education resort to scrounging before first trying to work?

Even a cleaning job is manageable in this country. Sure America and Australia has more hobos but we live in a country where pay is generally considered high. With an average Singaporean earning about 2 to 3 thousand a month as compared to some poor families in Europe or America or even Malaysia.

Get the link here?

To find a Singaporean scrounging for food is a sight that should never be seen. Begging too for that matter. Lower class people should earn their own keep. Everybody should be allowed to enjoy the sweat of their own brows instead of giving it to someone other then themselves to enjoy the benefits of.

Don't flame me because where we live, Its a free country. Freedom of speech as long as its not politically striking. So any flamers are discouraged from posting remarks not helpful to the discussion.

Thank you.

OK so today was like so...tiring..and its not over yet.

So yeah this morning i was woken up at 6.15 and had to quickly pull my senses together get to church do a quick 5 minute warmup and boom first piece at 7am in the morning. Tuning was abit off at first but that was quite quickly righted. Mass went along QUITE smoothly apart from the fact I played the WRONG score for Alleluia..darn..I used the old one instead. John wasn't too pleased..well anyway. When it came to do my little part for mass (yes a SOLO ) Yeah sure it was just 6 bars and composed of nothing ubt crotchets and quavers and ONE minum it sure as hell was nerve wreaking. It's been ages since i did a solo for Sunday mass. This one really IS a solo. I started the whole piece out for the whole choir. Really scary...

Well anyway when mass ended Jo , Bren and the rest of the guys we went down to Mengs for breakfast. Nothing much there but yeah. Practice was as usual..the usual lecturing from John about responsibility and the things a good musician should be. The works...eventually it rubs off I guess..

well anyway...after prac ended we did some secret garden stuff. Although I'm no celtic player and no where as versatile on my flute as Joven is on his violin. Though we're not great players we each have our own strengths I guess. What can I say against one of my non-blood brothers?

Had to meet Sis, Bro in law, Bro and mum for lunch at somewhere called the Hog's Breath?
Supersized steaks and like good tasting food. (MAN THE OIL O_O), ok it wasn't so drenched anyway. Well we had a few drinks. We started non alcoholic and eventualyl alcohol came to the table. I took a black russian. Man that stuff tastes good.
(*Thinks Purple Murples from Super Natural)

Later we walked around holland V for abit and went to look at some dogs at the pet store. I'm wondering to myself cause no one would answer but..what would happen if you put the two smartest breeds of cat and dog together and they manage to become friends if not allies?

A Siamese and a German Shepherd. I can only imagine the stuff they can do.

Well went back to Che Che's place...we had the cake...played a little football with bro in law on the PS2...watched Shaun the sheep like OMG FUNNY LA....it's just some cartoon but its so RIDICULOUS that it's funny. Well after that, bro in law just had to do it..He showed me claymore...and Now i'm stuck on watching the show. I mean the story is like so promising. (it has to be or i wouldn't watch it right?)

Well we left around 6pm and yeah I just got back and started right away on this. I can't believe that bro still wants to eat at Miss Clarity's cafe later..man..I'm like already stuffed...

REgardless anyway. To sum up the day. Hot and temperate...tiring yet fun, didn't think much of anything but the stuff at hand yeah so I would call it a good day. Apart from my ridiculous lack of sleep.

----------------------------------------
On another note...I forgot to put this in my previous entry but on Friday night I couldn't sleep. I kept tossing and turning in bed. I tried to play music to get to sleep to no avail. I slid in and out of sleep numerous times in the night. Usually feeling very uncomfortable due to the sweat on my forehead. I have no idea why I am sweating in an AIRCON room but it was just that day. Ho hum ...just thought i would pen it here incase i forgot about it.

Oh and a little picture of a real funny man who won the best comedian award for one year but was also a man that shattered lives...
Yes my friends...BORAT :X

A day which was....odd?

Well heres the rep, Bel and Karmen were both late for sectionals and I had to baby sit Keane for most of the hour, karmen was late because she overslept but she came anyway though.

Well band itself I won't discuss cause it was nothing much.

However it was the events AFTER band that is kinda freaky. We ate at KFC and after our meal when Bel was going to wash her hands I decided i should too. As i stood up I saw a man approach Joshua and the rest of them and he appeared to be asking for food. After I got to wash my hands when i walked back the guy was standing over MY food and he was taking my chicken bones from my plate. The look of WTF was on everyone's face. I looked at Aloysius and his expression was...WTF???? and I looked at Belinda and her face was like wth is he doing? I looked back at Aloysius and I realized my own expression was a WTF. I didn't see Josh and Gary's though. It was like SOOOO FREAKY.

Well during the meal we saw like...a huge....olympian...freakin huge...rotound lady. With tiny arms and a real big body. Scary..though not as scary as ole Food scavenger as said above.

We went for a few rounds of Billards.

Today's score?

1 win , 1 loss against Joshua

1 win against Gary

1 win , 1 loss against Aloysius

0 wins , 2 losses against Belinda...

From this score...we can see...Belinda is a real pro....man....you the girl...phew....I'm a noob though.

Well thats all for today. Got to get to doing other stuff. Good night!

Changing times

I've finished my third composition and I feel quite happy about it. This is one which i actually LIKE. One segment of the piece which i can't decide to call music box or mechanical clock is the nicest thing I've come up with. I intend to make my fourth composition around just that one musical idea. Well I've got to get to doing things..

When you know that something is wrong..

When a computer can tell what you're feeling...

Colour test yet again

---------------------------------

My existing situation

Needs peace and quiet. Desires a close and faithful partner from whom to demand special consideration and unquestioning affection. If these requirements are not met, is liable to turn away and withdraw altogether.

Stress sources

Has an unsatisfied need to ally himself with others whose standards are as high as his own, and to stand out from the herd. This desire for preeminence isolates him and inhibits his readiness to give himself freely. While he wants to surrender and let himself go, he regards this as a weakness which must be resisted. This self-restraint, he feels, will lift him above the rank and file and ensure recognition as a unique and distinctive personality.

Restrained Characteristics

Unhappy at the resistance he feels whenever he tries to assert himself. Indignant and resentful because of these setbacks, but gives way apathetically and makes whatever adjustments are necessary so that he can have peace and quiet.

Clings to his belief that his hopes and ideas are realistic, but needs encouragement and reassurance. Applies very exacting standards to his choice of a partner and wants guarantees against loss or disappointment.

Egocentric and therefore quick to take offense. Sensitive and sentimental, but conceals this from all except those very close to him.

Desired Objective

Suffering from the effects of those things which are being rejected as disagreeable, and is strongly resisting them. Just wants to be left in peace.

Actual problem

The need for esteem--for the chance to play some outstanding part and make a name for himself--has become imperative. He reacts by insisting on being the center of attention, and refuses to play an impersonal or minor role.

Rather alarming when mere algorithms can actually draw out how your life is from mere colours. Something must definitely be wrong...

SO what shall i call the day like?

Shity...nah....fun..maybe....troubling...yeah maybe...stressful...no...Mind bending...well yes....music filled...obviously...bored...hell yes...happy..nope...sad...somewhere nearby but not exactly...

Rather long description if you ask me. Well lets begin at work shall we...well I had subway for lunch....Kelvin had a bak chor me after he smelt Bee Hian's and he went to get some however..when he made his order he asked for more lard but at the same time he got all the oil together with it till you could actually say it was swimming in Oil..he tried diluting it but not to very much avail.

I left the office at 3pm (technically) but i lingered till about 3.30 for say...and I managed to get a 75 @ 3.45 and I reached school @ 4.15 to find that they started the Stage Band pract. Yi Yang quickly got me a saxophone from storage and we were jazzing it up (well not perfectly anyway) for about a good hour or so.

I let Belinda try the sax since she wanted to learn for her outside performance next year. Had dinner at the new Alumni Clubhouse..Which isn't really that great....prac today wasn't to my liking....I didn't like the pieces much at all except maybe the alternative Highlights...

Suddenly I feel like an anvil has fallen on my head...jealousy, throbs and the like. They say feelings make a man weak.

I'm rather confused at the moment and basically I don't want to have to fight with anyone to get what I want..maybe its because I'm just too much of a coward to make my point clear when it involves that......

Sigh...

How I wish I could keep dreaming because in my dreams, its all I want it to be...the perfect life...

Reality though is a painful thing...you can only climb so high and realize that it was only a dream and come tumbling back down to good ol terra.

While I was at the bus stop earlier my mind just couldn't stop thinking...I'm not stressed but its not the exterior that's hurt but the interior.

It makes no sense does it?

I'm not crazy, I'm just a little unwell......

Bah....

I feel like whatever i told myself before entering poly were just words of comfort because it isn't as easy as I thought it would be...

Maybe some bailey's might douse the fire in the head.

So many friends but is there really anyone left where the heart is?

They are just too far out to call close friends.

I'm just out of words...maybe I might be able to think tomorrow...

Well today's photo or rather backdated maybe...

Today was a rather lasting day at the office. I actually was busy for the whole day and went for lunch with the entire department across the street @ happy valley.
The food was good, i had the black pepper chicken. yum...

While I was doing the sanction listings some of the people in the client database who were obviously too young to be real terrorists. Jeya and Kelvin said that you might never know...
Well basically if thats the case..a word for you terrorists...

THE WORLD WOULD BE A BETTER PLACE WITHOUT YOU LOT. IF YOU PEOPLE JUST LEARNT TO LIVE AND TOLERATE OTHER RACES AND RELIGIONS WE"LL ALL JUST BE A LITTLE BIT HAPPIER, YOU BASTARDS.

Dumb terrorists..

Well anyway the photo above is of my desk after the long day. My laptop i used as a dual screen which had the sanction lists while the desktop had all my systems running like World Check and the company's databases. More efficient that way.

Here we have a rather ancient souvenier. Taken at the PNC camp in June...this is one of the few photographs we took together that night at sectionals. Now when i look at the people i worked with and learnt side by side with I realise how much has changed. From complete strangers..we have become friends. People we can count on to be at our backs. No matter how stupid one can act, how slow one can be, how ridiculous, how insane or how irritating they are in the end...they are all still friends.

Heres some lyrics from a song that I've had for a long time. Its got some groove but its lyrics although abit senseless do strike some places...

What would you say - Dave Matthews Band

Up and down the puppies' hair
Fleas and ticks jump everywhere
'Cause of original sin
Down the hill fell Jack and Jill
And you came tumbling after
'Cause of original sin
Wipe away the tears
Drink a hope to happy years
And you may find
A lifetime's passed me by

What would you say
Don't drop the big one
If you a monkey on a string
well Don't cut my life line
If you a doggie on a chain
Don't bite the mailman
What would you say

I was there when the bear
Ate his head, thought it was a candy
Everyone goes in the end
Knock knock on the door
Who's it for, theres nobody in here
Look in the mirror my friend
I don't understand at best
I cannot speak for all the rest
at mornin rise a lifetime's passed me by

What would you say
Dont' drop the big one
If you a monkey on a stringwell
Don't cut my life lineIf you a doggie on a chain
Don't bite the mailman
What would you say

Every dog has its day every day has its way
Of being forgotten - "Mom, it's my birthday!"
what wouldd you say (then what could you say)
what would you say
I was there when the bear
Ate his head, thought it was a candy
Everyone goes in the end
Knock knock on the door
Who's it for, theres nobody in here
Look in the mirror my friend
I don't understand at best
I cannot speak for all the rest
at mornin rise a lifetime's passed me by
what would you say?

---------------
A rather old song but like it says..what would you say?
More particularly its what i feel about it...What would YOU say. Your name I can never say in direct reference. Knowing the amount of trouble it would cause and the shock you'd be in.

Sometimes it just doesn't make sense now does it?

Trebuchet Krummy Cracker Volley

Elephants Alex Acre Annex

Linux Reams Cloudy Neck

Innovative Mp5 Hindenburg Enormous

Noxious Eryx Emissary Situated

Damaging Nagant Longbow Simulation

Alarm Annecdote

Of the four most recent I just can't decide which of them is best...whicch is better?

Till next time...

Another photojournal today. Meet Dragon and Maxwell. The two guys of the house. Dragon is white and max is the greyish one. These boys make the house alot...livelier?

To the right is a shot just outside DBS towers.

Couldn't just let a nice sight pass..unfortunately it dosen't look as nice in a photograph.

Another view but this time of the construction site next to me at the time.

This is a shot from clark quay after birthday celebrations of Ling Li and Joshua. I had a Vodka (REAL VODKA I MEAN IT) and listened to live blues. Was a fun time I must say.

On sunday i went to watch LARRY CARLTON. OMG IT WAS COOL! That Tenor Saxophonist was like OMG!@!@!@!@! So cool. Man I wish i could play like that.

Then finially i end with this. A DISTINCTION FOR MY SAX EXAM. WOO HOO!!!
Thanks Aloy for your help too haha.
Most thanks to Mr Steven for his help.
Odd thing though. The past day I've had something on my mind that has been biting away for quite a while. Unfortunately I cannot discuss it here as much as i would wish too. Nah its not you Miss lehcar its something bigger...more disturbing if its known. Risky even talking about it. Sigh..
Better get ready to solve bigger problems though. Theres a shitstorm coming our way.
