When Men Come...
So now the men have come. I feel nervous that I can't do a good job in leading them but I will do my best to lead.
Had fun out with Candel, Kev, Su and Evelyn. Been a while since I've seen candel and evelyn. My my so much has changed since second school...its funny how so much has changed in such a short time...sigh...how sad.
Can't wait till its time to study again :/

Well...its the 6th Of July...One year older as of today. I don't really feel different. Kinda feels the same =/
Anyway big thanks to those who wished me within the first two hours of the night. Big thanks to those who used the phone to contact me rather than facebook. I appreciate the sentiments for those who took the effort to text me rather than to put it online. NOT saying i don't appreciate you guys who sent your regards online. Love you all none the less!
So far special thanks goes to Gary Chew, Lizzie, Hui Han and Shan for texting/whats apping me instead. Good to know that some in the world still believe in older forms of communication!
For a man that believes strongly in modernization, i believe that the closer technology tries to bring us together, the further apart we become. Emails are less personal than snail mail because its instantaneous, Facebook is too autonomous because it's a mass communication source. The phone is the closest to personal communication. Was just having this discussion with Hui Han at dinner.
Gonna go to sleep now...got lots of work to do tomorrow...I want to go swimming soon...

Monday, July 04, 2011Back To Bedlam
The choir retreat to port dickson was real fun and I enjoyed myself wholly. While there I learnt about the malaysians and about some of my peers. Some good things...some bad.
For example who acts like an arse half the time craving for attention...or who's as blur as a jelly fish or the plain innocent.
As a photographer, I realize the right in the statement 'the camera don't lie'. Though I have a question, if a picture paints a thousand words...just how specific are the words?
A picture doesn't have an explaination when it comes to describing things that took place in the frame.
I learnt also to let go these childish dreams and look beyond my horizons.
Though on a whole, I'm glad my peers appreciate the photographs I took and the only person I apologise to is ellie. For the durian, my bad!

Friday, July 01, 2011We stand alone. Together.
At SDC now. Happy SAF day to the men in green....I guess :/ regardless. Its been a long week thus far and even longer too.
Was on off on wednesday so I left camp on tuesday. Tuesday I went down town to print the poster for work and then went to jaben...got myself a new wire and ...a birthday present from jaben! Thanks! I love jaben and I'm sure it loves me too haha...
Walked back to the printing shop and took a bus back to Taka. Went to meet Jia Huan cuz she was the first on the ground. We waited till gary lim, chew, nicolette and mr tan came and then it was time for me to shoot.
A few hours later, happy, sated and with 120 plus photos I went home and settled the upload.
Went to watch transformers with chew the next day and went out with ty for lunch. Booked in at around 930pm.
This is not the end of the week for me tho! Port dickson tmr and sunday! I'm pretty excited and I'm sure it'll be fun. Even tho its quite a short trip. Time to open those eyes and ears! Woo!
