Abit late for a post but imagine this..I just watched a dark comedy film about dystopia in the future.....

Imagine this...what does evolution or....in some case..Natural selection favour?

It favours any part of a species that becomes a majority and survives...

Imagine this now...

Humans have been around for a long time. Our society focussed on being smart and learning things and doing things for the betterment of humanity. Though its not exactly uncommon to see in parts of the world where proper speaking is frowned upon as "Uncool", mannered and cultured behaviour is "despised".

For every prodigy or brilliant mind in the world ever, there was at least 100 or more not so smart people. For every one of those, you had at least 1000 to each. For each average person there was possibly 10000 people who were either uneducated or unmannered or perhaps in lack of a simpler nice word. Dumb.

Who produces at a faster rate?

Well its not exactly hard to tell who exists in a greater majority.

The more people who fail to understand the negligence of personal duty or study or a proper culture as we know it. We might result in what we see in the film Idiocracy.

A whole world turned stupid because the "dumb" people took over the world and outbred the smart people.

Though the film dosen't draw a very good line on smart or dumb, its quite funny to imagine, a world of stupid people. However its not so funny once you realize that the reason for this is because of what happens today. For every history buff who loves history, there are at least 100 people who couldn't give a shit. Its thus quite obvious how history is so obviously forgotten.

In the show, Charlie Chaplin is seen as the evil dictator of Nazi Germany. Dinosaurs were used to fight wars and the UN, UN-Nazifed the world. Now what kind of history is that?

For every person that drinks for say...Gatorade. A handful of people barely even know how it works and why it is good for your body in some amounts. Now take into context, that people never bothered to find out how Gatorade works for tens of years. The CEO of Gatorade could just proclaim its good for plants and water is bad!

Now for those of us in science classes or courses, we know that plants need water for the fact that it is the basic life giving substance for every living organism. It contains just the right amount of ions to keep a plant or a person alive. These ions will of course help our body replenish its supplies for Sodium ions or Potassium Ions. Plants need almost the same thing out of water. Imagine feeding Gatorade to plants because the CEO of Gatorade says since its good for humans it must be good for plants too. Well its quite obvious that plants will die from an inbalance of nutrients more easily than a human would. (We just grow fat and suffer a multitude of diseases)

Sounds like total cod right?

Humanity seems to be headed right down that path, what we take for granted today might not be in a few hundred years. What we know like what was the first mass produced car, or the first plane in the world would be forgotten by our children. One day maybe water may be forgotten for all we know. So perhaps for those of us that dislike studying or wonder WHY we study. If this post actually made sense to anyone, then we know now that unless we do our civic and moral duties as citizens and our obligations to the rest of humanity to ensure a line of children of the future who will carry the best into the future. If not then...well I guess we're buggered huh?
